Best Vet I've Ever Been To!!!!!!. Dr. Peterson and his staff are always professional and understanding of my situation. My dog is very hard to handle, yet they are always good with him and take it slow. I have been going to Dr. Peterson for over 10 years. He is the only vet I know that will give you alternatives to treatment if something is too expensive for your budget. He goes over the animal's problem, what he feels would be the best way to treat the problem, offers alternatives, and acknowledges concerns with alternative treatments so that you know what could possibly happen. I have tried going to other vets all over California, and out of all of them, Peterson and his staff genuinely care about your animals and want to help. He is the only vet I recommend...and probably will be for years to come.

Thank you Dr. Peterson and staff for everything you've done for all my pets over the years.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET. I found Dr. Peterson to be shallow and uncaring. I have a frightened and angry cat, who is not very easy to handle. Dr. Peterson was terrible, although his staff were extreemly experienced in handling, little beasties.

My cat may be difficult but Dr. Peterson's obvious dislike for the cat was apparent. Dr. Peterson did what ever he could to pad the bill so that he could keep me coming back, never quite getting well.

He told me that he would have to tranquilize my cat to get a CBC panel which is a very standard test...I thought ok, but 1000.00 give me a break. I would ask a question, he would shrug his sholders, what ever he would say.

It is sad to think that VETS like him still exsist.

I left mad and crying, I went directly to Alhambra Animal Hospital behind Target on W. Main. They worked me right in and I saw a wonderful vet, who took my cat and did all the tests and was smiling and competent. And well unless you have a lot of money and a lot of time tow waste, I would avoid this QUACK!

Horrible Experience with Dr. Peterson. I strongly do not recommend Dr. Peterson or his clinic. I sincerely hope that by sharing my experience will help someone. I took my Bichon Furball to Dr. Peterson at the Las Tunas Animal Hospital on 1/21/08. Since I have a word limit on this review, I can not include every detail. Long story short, Furball was given medication and told to come back in 2 weeks. Night before the 2 weeks was up, Furball was very sick. The next day 2/6/08 Furball went back to Dr. Peterson, he still did not tell us what was wrong with Furball and took another test. Furball died that night.

The worst part of this clinic is after Furball?s death, we requested Furball?s medical records so that we might be able to bring them else where to figure out why he died. Any pet owner knows how painful it is to lose a loved one and how it is necessary to gain closure. The two technicians who work there,Sandy and Debbie, were unsympathetic to my dog?s death and refused to give me a copy of his medical records. They stated that it is their hospital?s policy that no record can be released to the dog?s owners. My daughter and I have asked numerous times to speak to Dr. Peterson himself but he refuses to return any of our phone calls . We are always told ?he is in surgery?, ?he is with a patient?, ?he has left the office? every single time we call to speak with him.

We do not want to get any money, but only to hear from him what happened. He will not even have the decency to talk to us over the phone and explain to us what might have happened, which is making Furball?s death very difficult for my family. If Dr. Peterson would just talk to us and tell us what happened to Furball and said I?m sorry, forgive me, we would have a better peace of mind and not be going through a lawyer to obtain Furball?s medical records. I do not recommend Dr. Peterson and this clinic at all, I hope sharing my own experience with Furball?s death will help someone in the future.

Great Vet... I love the vet here. He's so nice and does a great job with my animals. Been seeing him for years. I recommend this place to all my friends! Reasonably priced too! You can't beat that!
