not really good burgers, order tacos, very good food
not really worth it. Jack has the best curly fries ever. Ever. There are curly, crispy, and delicious. But I pass on everything else on the menu. Burgers aren't really good, there's too much mayo on the spicy chicken sandwich, and I refuse to order tacos at a burger joint. That just freaks me out.
Fast-food chain attracts a drive-thru crowd with its made-to-order burgers and specialty sandwiches..
In Short
Since 1951, this quick-serve restaurant has catered to on-the-go motorists, pioneering drive-thru dining and a broad selection of distinctive fast-food items. The menu emphasizes burgers like the best-selling Jumbo Jack--a thick patty topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo-onion sauce--but value items like stuffed jalapenos, bacon-cheddar potato wedges, and "monster" tacos are popular, too. Breakfast and sourdough sandwiches, salads and real ice cream shakes round out the offerings.
We were given a lovely large table, which was almost very clean..
It being the only Jack in the Box in the La Crescenta area its hard to speak badly about the fine dinning establishment.
I am glad we booked well in advance, as we were a group of 6. On arrival, my friends and I were welcomed by the night manager Pepe. He kept a very close eye on proceedings through the evening. We were given a lovely large table, which was almost very clean.
The food was wonderful and the service very good although it would have been nice if the drive-though wasnt as packed. The fountain Coke I selected for the evening was not the slightest decanted. I felt like a regular and not a tourist, whether it be Barstow or Eagle Rock, I always feel welcome.
Pepe bade us farewell when we eventually departed around 3 AM.
A great night all round.
