If you were planning a secret tryst, Taylor's overstuffed leatherette booths would be the perfect place to meet on the sly. Its dining room sports white linen tablecloths, mahogany paneling and nary a window. Entrees are flanked with soup or a huge iceberg lettuce salad, steamed vegetable, or either baked or mashed potatoes, but such herbaceous elements are just window-dressing for the sumptuous, thick steaks. The meal is capped off with a towering slice of light, lemony cheesecake and a cup of joe.

Best buy steakhouse Delicious steak First Impression was not the best. I never write a review but this place deserves a rating. I consider myself a streak lover. I had had steaks from all over the world. We were debating go to Taylor's or Maestro but from looking at the menus Taylor's would give me more value for my buck and great quality. On to the food when I first walked, it seems outdated but that did not matter once the food arrived. I had made reservation but did not need them when I arrived I was seated me immediately. I had the rib eye special: 8 OZ. OMAHA RIBEYE WITH PEPPERCORN SAUCE Fresh Vegetable and Potato *The server had recommended having the peppercorn sauce on the side that was a great idea. It tasted better on its own. Even the veggies and potatoes were perfect. The carrots has a juicy, slightly sweet I loved. Even the mashed potatoes tasted really. It was phenomenal I have had my share of steaks and then this one was juicy, tender and full of flavor. MY husband ordered: TOURNEDOS OF BEEF: Filet Mignon 29.95 Jumbo Mushroom Caps - Bearnaise I have never liked filet mignon but after trying this entree, I love filet mignon amazing how marvelous it could taste with the appropiate chef. Totally will go back next time we are in town. I very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone the food was so worth it. Our tab was less than $100 and that was for two entrees, two deserts, and a beer. Thumbs up do not let appearances turn you away. The server was great

My husband and I went to have dinner on a Saturday night. We understood that we did not have reservations so the hostess started a waiting list. Not to mention we had to wait 10 minutes before she got off the phone and did not even make eye contact nor greeted us properly. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes. We were still calm and waiting for out table being understanding that we did not make reservations. However, another couple came in without reservations and found out that there was a waiting list. They threw a fit! and explained to the hostess that "it is not acceptable". Apparently the couple had called to see how long the wait was before but never made reservations. I heard the entire conversation as I was sitting right next to the hostess -still waiting. The hostess immediately sat them before us. When I went up and asked why they bumped them up before us, the hostess RUDLY looking down at me said " You don't know the STORY". Without apologizing she started defending herself and basically told me "too bad". My husband and I after waiting 30 minutes now decided to walk out because of their rudeness. A simple apology would have worked but obviously just because you're a STEAKHOUSE does not mean you have CLASS! In this economy if someone is willing to come to your restaurant whether you're an expensive steakhouse or a taco stand you should learn how to treat customers. Taylor's Steakhouse left a horrible impression on me and I will never go back! It's a waste of time and horrible service.

I've eaten here several times and the food is always good--definitely a steak and potatoes kind of place but it works. Great place to meet friends for dinner. My only complaint is that I've never been able to order a well-done steak--they just won't cook them. Oh well, medium-well was good enough but I still thought it was funny that you can't even get a well-done chopped steak here. Other than that, I've enjoyed my meals here.
