bLACK ANGUS IN MONROVIA IS NOT GOOD. SERVICE OK FOOD BAD. Went there yesterday, not to busy.. BA and gone downhill since last I went... ordered the ribs, well lets just say they were dry and probably were cooked hours before and kept in the oven. The potato was not cooked al the way and the ceaser salad was dry and needed more dressing. Service was ok. I left feeling taken and told the manager I'd never go back.

Should have gone to North Woods.

It's not bad - but can improve. Still worth going.. My fiance and I come here about once a month. We usually get the dinner for two - I always get the prime rib, and he usually gets the salmon. It's usually quiet. Customer service is almost always superb. The only complaint I have is the shrimp cocktail is always over cooked. ALWAYS - it wasn't that way when we first started coming here. Again, shrimp cocktail is not the reason one would visit a Black Angus. What we come here for is usually great.

Get the chocolate cake if you're getting dessert!!

Extremly HORRIBLE service, SLOW serving, BAD BAD BAD steak DONT GO to Monrovia Black Angus. My worset experience with Black Angus. No greeting from the waiter, extremly slow service. Ordered midium rare, but came a almost well done steak. When I complianed, they changed to the other steak that is cold and probably done awhile ago. I was told that is the last peice in their kitchen. When I about to leave, found out the waiters were chating at the hallways (no wonder service was horrible). I called the 800 number on the receipt, found it useless. Never go there again.

"fried"primerib, horrible ice tea, bad service, bad service (did i mention bad service?). Ordered prime rib, it came hard and greasy and tasted like it was fried. The service was very bad. Had to get up several times to find the server. No one was at the front desk to help me get seated. The ice tea was horrible. Would never go back to this restaurant again.

The Bomb! Steaks. I have been to this plce many times. The service is grwat and the steaks are perfect. It cant be any better.

If only I could have a closer restaurant like this around the block. I would be there more often

A Great Place for Steak!. I come here to relax and enjoy a great American steakhouse diner. Unlike all the new trendy and super noisy chains (Outback, Romano's, etc) you can relax and enjoy a good meal. The price is a little steep - the plus is you ears will not be ringing when you leave and you can actually hear the person across the table from you during diner.
