Cioppino!. I got a GROUPON coupon for this place and just discovered this local treasure! I had their cioppino... It was AMAZING! A huge bowl filled with clams, mussels, shrimp, salmon and crab legs. The red broth was perfect for dipping the garlic toast!

On another visit with the whole family, we ordered a large pizza and a tray of assorted wings. Those wings were finger lickin good! Honey BBQ, Original Red Hot, Garlic Parmesan and Lime Chili. We'll be back, have not had their Lunch Buffet.

A great value for your money and taste buds.

Calamari... Pizza... Pasta.... everything so far is delicious! I love this place, if you've never had the pleasure of living in NY or Chicago, this place is just like the local neighborhood Italian restaurants of NY and Chicago!

The owner is from Sicily, so you know your eating authentic Italian food. My kids love the baked Gnocchi Alfredo! I prefer the Veal Parmigian. We are locals, so after my kids soccer or baseball game, we head over to Fratelli's and enjoy a homemade hearty meal.

Finally, a HUGE plus is they also DELIVER!!!! I love this place!

Best Italian Food!. I'm Italian born and raised! Basically, my experience of Italian food, here in American, has been terrible! The chain restaurants are the worst, and so are the so called authentic restaurants with "Non Italians" running the place. My boyfriend and I had dinner at Fratelli's... OMG! It was like being transported back home! The savory sent of fresh herbs, the homemade sauce and pasta! At Fratelli's, you really can experience REAL Italian food without going to Italy. Take my advise and try it!

Horrible food, even worse service. If you're looking for Italian food, go somewhere else. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The food was bland and didn't taste good at all. You can get a better pasta frozen at Trader Joe's. The server (who happened to be the "manager on duty") was rude, mean, and even had the gumption to say that we deserved to be treated poorly. Completely the opposite of what to expect from an Italian cuisine. If I wasn't in a group, I would have walked out.

I thought I spotted a HATER! Really? I feel I have to comment on this because I frequent this neighborhood restaurant so much, I find it very hard to believe. and BTW, there is no manager, its just the owner and his wife.

GREAT PIZZA. This place has excellent service and great food. We stopped to try the pizza and it was fantastic. I am a pizza lover and they have the best pizza in town. Ambiance is great you have nice music playing. Try it you'll like it.

Bravo!. I was heartbroken when my beloved Maurizio's in Glendale shut down. The sauce! The calamari! The cannelloni! Then I stumbled into this little deli with a small seating area and there on the wall was a blown up article and a picture of Mr. Maurizio himself. I called my boyfriend practically in tears. Our favorite Italian place was not extinct after all! This place is cozy, the waiters are groovy, and the food never fails to please. We love going for special occasions or just after a rough week. Can't wait until next time!

And the Soju lemondrop is now my favorite drink.

Best Pasta, Pizza in L.A.!. Every saturday night i find myself there 'cause the food is awesome, the staff is like an extended family. Fratelli's is the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles, period. I have been to both Italy and N.Y. and the food and service here are both superb and unmatched in L.A. The cuisine here certainly stands with the best in either Italy or N.Y., or any little Italy's in America. The staff is very welcoming and so warm, it's a real pick-me-up to come for dinner after a hard day's work. It's like coming home to your Italian grandma's kitchen. There is nothing the staff won't do to accomodate you, and make the dining experience special. I am a pizza lover and they have the best pizza in town, (the crust range from thin - extra thick) I prefer the thin crust. The ingrediants are always fresh and EVERYTHING on the menu is homemade. Try the delicious tomato soup, it comes with a side of cheese and garlic croutons, and the fettucine alfredo is outstanding. I look forward to any evening dinner there, and when I leave I savour the wonderful taste of the food for hours afterward. They just added a wine bar and serve soju and have an excellent selection of wines. This is a must try Authentic Italian Restaurant!

GREAT FOOOD!!!!. I absolutely LOVE the food here! I happened to stumble into the restaurant a few years back when i was visiting a friend that lived in the Montrose area. Being a big italian food lover I make it a point to try any italian joint at least once....and I'm super glad that we gave this little mom & pop joint a try. My friends & I still make it a point to come out every other weekend even though some of us live far away (Glendale, Long Beach, Westwood, Asuza) .....ITs just that GOOD!!

Reasons why i love this place:

- The pasta dishes are very generous (the long pastas in any case...my FAV is the Fratelli's Pesto)

I can NEVER finish a whole pasta dish by myself so I either end up splitting it w/ someone or take the rest home.

- The pizza crust & house bread are AMAZING!! I'm not a big fan of olives...BUT their house olive bread rocks!! Not a big fan of red sauce on my pizza either but the sauce they use is rather good...my pizza of choice when I go there however is their CHICKEN ALFREDO (chkn, broccolli & alfredo sauce) or their DELLA NONNA (grilled chkn, fresh tomato, feta & basil in a rosemary olive oil sauce)....talk about YUM!!

- If you've never had an italian soda EVER you need to give theirs a try. They have a good range of flavors ...my personal fav is the raspberry or peach flavors AND you have to get it with the cream!! Its both tasty & refreshing!!

- The service is pretty good. The staff is friendly & very attentive. I remember coming in 2 weeks ago for lunch w/ 6 of my friends. We do tend to get chatty & forget to look at our menus when we get together, but our server was very patient with us. We were surprised thought that she had our drinks ready before we even told her what we wanted...the surprise was that she got it right! Right down to who wanted which flavors on their italian sodas, who doesn't like ice in their drinks ...even that extra lemon wedge!! THAT RIGHT THERE shows how much they pay attention to their customers!!!

Best Ravioli's outside of Italy!!. I went to Fratelli's over the weekend, on a date! The food and service were EXCELLENT! The servers were very attentive (I think the knew this was a first date). We ordered the calamari fritti, it was perfect. I ordered the special lobster and crab ravioli and my date had the chicken marsala. I thought the raviolis were amazing, after a taste, my date wanted my ravioli's too. The chicken marsala was very good too. We ordered coffee and shared a tiramisu. Like I said, the servers were very attentive, and the food was amazing. I've never had a bad experience at Fratelli's. I even use them for deliveries, they delivery anything on the menu and they're open late. If you've never been to Fratelli's, you cant go wrong with the Ravioli's and the Pizza is VERY GOOD too!

booooooo fratelli's!. Save yourself time, energy, and appetite. Don't dine here. Went there on a sunday night with a total of 10 other people in the restaurant (besides ourselves) and it took close to an hour to recieve our not so good food. My boyfriend took, literally, a bite of his lobster & shrimp ravioli (how could you go wrong with that, right?? wrong!) "special" and was close to upchucking. Not to mention the terrible customer service..

Bottom line, if you're in the mood for Italian, don't go here.
