Neighborhood Favorite

Although the coffee does leave something to be desired (and is served in styrafoam cups! gasp!), the atmosphere is funky and fun - a great place to enjoy a smoothie or a cone on a weekend afternoon. But be prepared - this is somewhat of a So. Pas institution and can be mobbed with customers.

My favorite frozen treat ever is a thick Buster's malt, and the shop is that rare kind of place where you can sit back and enjoy your snack without hassle. Upstairs is perfect for gazing out the window at the growing street scene, talking with a friend, or just soaking up some serious quiet. Deliciousness.

Make it a Mocha

A local favorite in South Pasadena, I came here for ice cream when I was a kid and now I go for their ice blended mocha's. If you don't want to overdose on the caffeine and you want to know that there is chocolate in a mocha, these babies are a hit!

Nice place to hang out

This is a pleasant place to hang out and chat with friends over coffee or ice cream. The deserts are just okay, and I really can't speak for the coffee since I don't drink any, but the ambiance is good. It's on Mission so it's kind of neat watching the traffic go by this section of the street which looks like it's from another time.
