clean well-lighted place for whodunits

On Mission, just a few blocks west of Fair Oaks, is a great little bookshop with a solid selection of titles across the mystery genre --police procedurals, noir, whodunits, private eye, hard-boiled, suspense are all here for the buying. Owner has that wonderful quality, found only amongst the princes of independent booksellers, of ordering and advocating books he feels deserve wide reading. If you stop by on a Saturday, amble on over to Mission Wines for a tasting and work on a little glow before you dig into your "right ripping yarn."
