Greal local Kitchen.
I live 2 blocks aways pass by on my way to work daily . I rarely get a chance to eat here cause they focus on the lunch crowd. BUT they open for dinner Friday and Saturday night. I look forward to going to dinner here. Food is cooked in front of you by Luigi, everything is fresh, cheap and darn good. They finally put up a new sign too.
Pastas are good the few greek items they still have are dead on and the fish and steaks are really the gem here.
Great addition to the area.

New owners! Now COLORI KITCHEN, italian.
After reading the review of ?Colori kitchen? on Yelp, I look this restaurant on City search and could not find it. Eventually I realized that is the former Sparta Delicatessen. Everything has change but the sign (still read as Sparta). The food is great, the atmosphere funny. They are real Italians and sometimes you can catch the two sisters ?cat fight? over dessert recipes or joking with the Chef Luigi (former chef at Ca? Brea).
Colori Kitchen is the typical neighborhood restaurant, unforgettable food, cheap price, nice atmosphere. A well kept secret for real ?downtowners?.
