Good overall rating. Rooms at the Pasadena Hilton are comfortable, clean and well appointed. Despite our room being close to the elevator, it was still very quiet, which was nice. The sports bar within the hotel is also nice however the restuarant is average. Travellers looking for interesting dishes or an above average dining experience would be be better served trying one of the many groumet Pasadena establishments. The hotel is situated very close to downtown with shops, restaurants and the mall just an easy and quick walk away. The hotel also offers guests complimentary shuttle service via two vans, one small and one larger, that will whisk you to wherever you want to go in Pasadena. This worked out great for our group of eight when going out to eat at establishments that were not within walking distance. Overall, the service was very good and I would give the hotel high marks.

Spacious business accommodations just minutes from Pasadena's treasures.. The Scene
This standard business high-rise is a mere two blocks from the Pasadena Convention Center, which explains why it's always filled to the brim with guests wandering around with name badges on. While the rooms are generic, the location makes up for it, within walking distance to contemporary art museums, galleries, unique boutiques and dozens of restaurants in quaint and pedestrian-friendly Old Town Pasadena, the city's renovated historic heart.

The Details
Spacious guest rooms are well-suited for the business types loyal to the upscale Hilton name. Beyond the covered valet court, which sees its fair share of rental cars, guests will find a lively formal lobby with polished marble floors, a reliable restaurant and the hotel's most appealing establishment, the Sports Edition sports bar, which offers a good wine list, numerous kinds of beer and a full selection of cocktails.

Close to Old Town. Walking distance to Old Town and all the shopping, dining and nightlife. The hot-tub is surprisingly nice and well-maintained, but you have to know where it is or you'll never see it. Go to the 2nd floor then all the way to the left and out the door. They have towels in the workout room, so you don't need to bring your own. Good lunch buffets.

good quality hotel. Good location, good breakfast buffet, and nice pool and whirlpool. Workout room is small, but shuttle service can take you to near by health clubs - 24 hr Fitness, Ballys, and LA Fitness. A good hotel for meetings and training seminars.

Good Hotel Choice. A good, solid, serviceable hotel. At times when I've stayed here, they've had someone on staff to advise visitors and pick them up from Old Town and farther afield - don't know if they still offer that service, but it's indicative of the commitment to customer service here. Room service is prompt and friendly; rooms are clean and pleasant.

Great customer service. I stayed here a few nights for business, and the hotel was comfortable but unremarkable. Room service was ridiculously expensive, but I guess that's to be expected. One thing happened that was worth commenting on, though: I had a rental car, and leaving work one afternoon I bumped into something in the parking garage. It left a pretty noticeable scratch and dent in the front fender. I drove back to the hotel and valet parked the car. The next morning, when I retrieved the car, someone (the valet guy, I assume) had cleaned up the scratch and banged out the dent so you could hardly even notice it. He didn't have to do that--I was really impressed. That's going the extra mile for the customer.
