Tips for Starbucks Coffee

October 11, 2012

This Starbucks is my favorite one downtown. Even though there were two Starbucks locations closer to my work I always ended up walking to this one because they always got my drink of choice absolutely perfect everytime.

Starbucks wants your experience and your drink to be exactly the same at every location you go to. This does not happen and I cannot imagine they aren't aware of it. I order an iced green tea latte a lot of the time. Sometimes they shake it, sometimes they stir it, sometimes it has milk, sometimes it's all water (blegh!), sometimes it's sweetened just right, unsweetened or way too sweet, etc, etc. You get the point. At this location they always get it right and I am so glad someone knows what they're doing! I've also ordered green teas, iced coffees and caramel macchiatos here and they all end up tasting like they're supposed to. Also, the people are really nice. Rarely do I have a bad customer service experience here. Way to go Starbucks on Fig! You always make my day that much better.

This 'Bucks was remodeled recently. The biggest change? One of the baristas calls me "dear" after every sentence. You'd think I'd find it patronizing but instead I think it's quite school-ma'am-ly, like a matronly hug. Not that I ever went to private school in England (although it's confusingly called "public school" there, which just goes to show what can happen if you have in-bred aristocrats ruling society) but it's a friendly joint.

The coffee is Starbucks coffee: functional, serviceable, jolt-y, and often burned but acceptable if you have a caffeine need. They have several easy chairs in this place, and it's never been that busy when I've dropped by in the middle of the afternoon. So you can plomp down, whack open the laptop, and happily dab away for a while quite comfortably.

With its low prices and huge selection, this is truly a one-stop-shopping mecca.. In Short
Red-shirted salespeople guide shoppers through the bright, well organized stores. From housewares to lawn care, Target stores are always clean and welcoming. And with clothing lines by Mossimo and Isaac Mizrahi and housewares designed by noted architect Michael Graves, it satisfies budget-conscious college students and as well as young families.

Compliment. I have been in the Burbank store many times and several of those times I have been checked out by a lady named Amelia. I do not know her last name. I want to compliment this employee as I have found her to be a delight. She always has a smile and a kind word. While there are other Target stores within my area Burbank is the one I choose to shop at.

I Love this Target!. This is the first Target that I have been to that has been located at an indoor mall. I thought that would be a little weird when I first saw them building it. But considering that it was being built at the Eagle Rock Plaza, did it really matter anyways??

I love this one though. It's HUGE. I mean, I've been to a lot of big Targets, but usually all the sections are crammed together and mobs thrash the store and you just dont want to be there. This Target carries everything that the others do, but it just seems like there is more room There is definatley more parking. AND they have this cool little escalator for your cart. You just push it throw the swinging doors, step on to your escalator and watch as your items move right along with you. It's so fun!!

It is a big store. Big store it carries a variety of everything it has house needs electronics, kids stuff, party items, candles many other items ,usually its crowded but the store is big enough and cashiers are very efficient so the waiting line won't be such as terrible experience they also have a small cafeteria so if you get hungry you can also have a snack. I think the 2 floors merchandise are big enough to find yours needs.

Pasadena is great but Burbank is better.. I used to go to this Target store when I worked in Pasadena. But now that they opened the store in Burbank I will drive the extra miles cause I like it best. Just last week I stopped for something small and I walked through the nursery to look at the plants. Well, by the time I walk out I needed two baskets. The plants were fantastic and really healthy. I found plants that I had never seen before, not even at the big nursery by my house.

Target-o-phile. Targets in general are a godsend--you can find pretty much all your daily needs there--but the one in Pasadena is terrific. Two full floors, packed to the gills, and they carry stuff I haven't seen at other Targets. I actually found good, cheap, stylish clothing and out-of-the-ordinary plant life there.
