clubbb. i cant wait to go to this club. its going to be the biggest hot spot in l.a. its going to be pact wit celebs and all of that. after i heard about it i just blew up becous im a big part of the whole club scene and im out everyday but i think when this place opens up its guna be my second home and if your somebody then you gotta be there. cant wait for this veryyyyy biggggg.
Good Times. Can't believe this place closed down! I will also remember the variety of great music it had, club atmosphere, and the awsome drinks. I came here almost every Saturday night for 3 years straight. As I got older...the crowd unfortunetly got younger. I will always remember my favorite bartender, Todd. He knew exactly what I liked to drink (Alize with a dose of Hennesey). I had good times with my friends here. Its too bad some things must come to an end. To all the people I met there...it was fun...thanks for the memories.
What a Bummer, that it closed down!. I cant believe this place closed down. The staff were friendly, the dancefloor is ample and the music choice looks like they just got it off my mp3 player, it's awesome. The drinks were inexpensive and the crowds were friendly. A good alternative to this club is Margarita Jones since this club is non existent. Margarita Jones owned that club.
halooweeen 2005. me n my girls drove close to 2 hours to visit this club we were not dissapointed @ all. we were there on saturday the 29th it wasa halooween bash. it was soo fun and we all got an awesome work out! its an awesome place period!
overrated. I was there Saturday night. The music isn't bad. The place is over rated. They had a surprise show that sucked. They cleared the dance floor for a performance that was a waste of time. People would have preferred to continue dancing. Recommend it as a last option.
Stock market-turned-meet market inside a downtown art-deco landmark..
In Short
Taking its name from the L.A. Stock Exchange, which was headquartered here in the '20s, this mega-club is all flash. Everything is over the top, from the sensory-assaulting sound and light systems to the constant crowds. DJs pump house, Top 40 and rock en Espanol over two sweaty dance floors. As with its namesake, the Stock Exchange offers no guarantees, but dolled-up ladies outnumber Armani-wearing macho men almost three-to-one.
always delivers. The stock always delivers. Go here about once every other month so it doesn't get played out. Always go to the same bartender who always remembers me and my favorite drink (ask for Tim). Music and scene is off the hook. Play a perfect mix of Trance, Spanish Rock, 80's, Salsa, & a little Hip Hop. I would have a good time going by myself to this club, which is usually the case since I lose my friends inside.
It's a Decent Club.
Went there last saturday ( 6/21/03 ), waited in line for about 10 minutes, short time to wait in anyone's book.
Good music, tons of girls, most of them were friendly. dress code is strictly enforced, even though a pair dressy pants, and a dress shirt is sufficient, at least half the people really dressed up. Drink price was reasonable. staff was nice. Parking was plenty across the street.
The crowd is NOT a diverse crowd, this is a predominately Latino crowd.
The Stock. This place has Good music, but it's too crowde;, nice dressed people
Good club on a Saturday night. I thought this place was really good. The music is great, the dance floor is huge, and theres bars everywhere. Across the street there is a 3 or 4 story parking lot so parking is no problem. Call for the dress code before going because it is very strict. Id recomend the Stock anytime.
