Great store, Crappy owners. as I was traveling through Pasadena today, I stopped in at World Hats. I love this store, though I don't get there often. I've usually just browsed there before, today I was on a mission. Now, I've come up with a dilemma - a quandary, if you will. I need to know - how can a man own a hat shop - arguably one of the best hat shops in Southern California - and know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HATS?!?!?!?!?!? Good heavens, this guy couldn't answer a single question I had. I SHOWED him the current hat, said I wanted to replace it. "You must take it to the dry cleaner" he said. What??? What does that have to do with replacing it??? From then on, every question I asked was either ignored, or the answer was mumbled and incomprehensible. I had to find the right hat entirely on my own. How do you stay in business when you don't even know your own inventory??? I LOVE this hat, and I LOVE that store, but good heavens, can't someone who KNOWS what a "crush-able, wool felt fedora" is take over for this guy???
