able technician, cold whirlpool refrigerator, good bye, wonderful experience
My Frigidaire refrigerator recently stopped making ice. It's an old fridge but I want to hold on to it for the next couple of years. So I decided to repair. There were so many appliance repair companies out there when I googled it... What helped me to pick one was a recommendation of my dear friend who had previously tried a few companies in the area. He spoke highly of Airflow technicians and customer service and it sealed the deal for me. I was not surprised at all when my fridge was fixed that same day I called. Even though it was late evening repair the technician was cheerful and professional in how he handled the service. The ice maker was changed and tested, the parts warranty and labor guarantee explained just the way I expected. Airflow delivered on their promise of excellent customer care and standard parts being carried in stock for the same day service. I'm glad my friend had recommended them.
Would use them again and highly recommend them!!.
My experience with Airflow Appliance Repair was great!! They showed up on a Sunday morning exactly when they said they would. No
speaking to an answering system like when you call other companies. The work was luckily completed in an hour.
The technician was very helpful explaining what happened and what he did to my fridge and finally, the cost was within my budget.
Would use them again and highly recommend them.
I'm happy with the service and would recommend this company.
My wife and I had recently noticed that it started taking longer and longer to dry our clothes (we have Kenmore dryer) and clothes were still hot and damp after cycle end.
My cousin who had similar issue awhile ago told me it could be improper venting or a clogged vent. Well, I tried cleaning it the best I could but it didn't really help.
Airflow was easy to find online and easy to schedule an appointment with. Their technician arrived on time and had the thermostat replaced. He also gave us some tips
on how to maintain the dryer to avoid future problems and cleaned the lint duct out (which was filthy even though we clean the lint after each load, the lint duct catches
larger pieces that do not get caught on the lint screen). Overall, I'm happy with the service and would recommend this company.
I received excellent service from these guys....
Scheduled an appliance service with them online. Next morning, I received an email confirmation AND they called my cellphone to confirm the appointment. I requested a 6pm to 9pm appointment timeslot. The appliance guys arrived at 9:00pm. I actually expected them to not show up since it was getting late. Their office is in Van Nuys, but they still showed up to my Irvine home late on a weekday night - awesome. They fixed my washer/dryer in less than 1 hour. Also, they took the time to explain to me how to use my washer/dryer in the safest way to avoid any damages to the machines. It was close to 10:00pm when they were done, but they took their time to explain how to use my machine.
I received excellent service from these guys... would hire them again for their courteous, patient service. 5-stars for still showing up for my service request so late on a weekday night, and also for taking their time to teach me some tips on using the appliance instead of rushing out the door!
I'm happy with outcome. My front-loading washing machine is making lots of noise as the tub rotates on the wash and (especially) spin cycles. I called Sears, and they told me that it is likely a spring that has come loose/broken that holds the wash tub in "true" when it spins. The machine goes through all the cycles with no problem. I described the problem when I called Airflow and they dispatched technician who already had the description of the problem and even the part ready. I didn't have to explain it again as he new more about my washer than I did. The repair - 4 springs were replaced - was quick. The price was pretty reasonable - I paid $30 for parts and after 15% off labor discount ended up paying $76 for labor. I'm happy with outcome.
recommend them to all.
In the past few months I had two different problems with my kitchen appliances. First, when the milk in my Whirlpool fridge was spoiling in a 2-3 days time. I tried to adjust the temp control to set it to the lowest temperature possible but it didn't help.
I called Airflow Appliance Repair to take a look at it. The mechanic that came over replaced worn out damper control.
He also cleaned the dust and lint under the fridge (I have two dogs and never have time). He told me it's necessary to do every now and then to make the refrigerator work more efficiently and showed me how. I paid $185 for the repair and could not have been happier with the result!
Second time I called them was when I had a problem with my GE oven over the holidays. The turkey wasn't getting ready in time... I tried to adjust the temp to no avail. After awhile the oven stopped working completely...
What a disaster!! I was really nervous when I called Airflow for help. They were really understanding and dispatched technician within an hour. What a relief!
He changed the heating element and I was happy to be back on track with my dinner preparation (I paid $155). Airflow proved to be reliable and I recommend them to all.

BIGGEST CROOKS IN THE APPLIANCE REPAIRD INDUSTRY HANDS DOWN!.
On March 23, 2010, a service repairman came to my home to take a look at my Whirlpool Refrigerator that was no longer cold. After inspection, he told me that I needed to replace the starter. He said he didn't have the exact part number, but he had something better that would work. He said it was going to cost $245.00 for the part and $55.00 for labor. It seemed steep, but I accepted due to the fact my family and I were going on three days without a refrigerator. The repairman finished the job inside of 15 minutes.
After he left, I looked on line for the parts that I thought he replaced. Starters cost around $50.00. This concerned me. Before I assumed the repairman took advantage of my ignorance and anxiousness to repair the refrigerator, I called Airflow Appliance Repair to ask them about the charge. I talked to an operator who said that a manager would get back to me the next day.
The next day Danny Zusman ( the manager) and I talked. He told me that I agreed to the contract and authorized the repairman to do the work. I told him regardless of what I authorized, now, after doing some research, I have found that the repairman charged me approximately $200.00 more than other retailers. Danny's reply was that I should have looked and compared prices before hiring Airflow Appliance to do the work. I told him regardless of what I should have done, now that I have found that starters run around $50.00, and that his repairman charged me $250.00, I wanted to talk to him directly to see what could be done before I give him and his company bad press. Again, he repeated himself and stated that I should have done comparison shopping. He said that when you shop for a car or TV prices margins vary between businesses. I told him that I didn't care about the price differences for anything else but what I was charged for a starter. I asked him how much do they cost them at wholesale. He declined to answer that. He told me prices vary and added that starters run from $10.00 all the way up to $300.00. I told him that for the life of me I did not see anything out there for $300.00. I added that if he could send me a link on line that proved what he was saying as true, I'd give him $1000.00. He said that he didn't have time. "It would take you two minutes of your time, " I said! "Obviously you know of a place that retails starters for $300.00. You mean to tell me that two minutes isn't worth $1000.00 to you?! You must be a millionaire if that's the case. Are you a millionaire," I asked? He didn't respond to that, but at some point in the conversation he told me that the service repairman only charged me $55.00 when they usually charge $150 and also that I wasn't charged any tax. I guess that labor rate fluctuates according to how much they feel they can gouge the customer. I asked if he had a boss. He said that he did. I told him if I was his boss I'd fire him. I asked Danny, who is identified as the "manager," if I could contact his boss. He said, "I am as high as it goes." "You're as high as it goes, " I asked? "I'm as high as it goes," he repeated. "That's right, you are high," I retorted. I told him that I'd find out who his boss was and that he should have a nice rest of his day, while he could. We then both said good bye and hung up.
Throughout the conversation/argument, Mr. Danny Zusman acted like this was my fault. I signed the contract, hired the repairman after I was told how much it was going to cost, and paid the money. He's right. I am at fault for assuming him and his associates practiced fair and honest business. Huge mistake.
I found a place that sells the exact part that the repairman used on my refrigerator. It's called a Relay Overload Start Capacitor Combination/3 n' 1 Start made by Supco and sold at Johnston Supply in Long Beach, CA for $13.00!
Great Appliance Repair Service Company. Called Airflow Appliance Repair at 3:00 pm and was able to get a same day service. The technician that came to my house was very friendly and was able to diagnose my refrigerator and get it repaired the same day. I will definately recommend this company to my family and friends.
