My favorite local. My family enjoys eating or take out here. They make great food and serve with a smile. Their salads are large enough to share and I love their tuna sandwich.

Not Cheap and Not Good.. I am not a food snob, especially when it comes to breakfast. But a BAD breakfast is UNacceptable. Fisrt off, the creme curdled when I put it in the coffee. It had a scuzz rim inside the pourer. Usually this happens because the cream has been sitting out awhile. But they just opened! Then my omelette came. Runny, and full of what tasted like frozen vegetables. Yucky yucky chesse. potatoes not cooked. Toast never made it to the table. The ketchup was snagged away from me before i was finished eating and there was only one other couple in the place. Come on. Then the bill dropped and my share was close to $20. Not worth $5.

Bad Service Okay Food. If a Mexican breakfast is what you want do not be fooled by the review of this restaurant in the Pasadena Weekly. They only offer 3 dishes and are skimpy on its contents. I came in today with my Mother and the waitress had terrible customer service skills and had a busser tell us that she was too busy to accomadate us. By the time she brought out the rest of the order our food was cold. We were ignored throughout our visit except from the bussers whose job is to bus the tables not wait on us. After speaking with the owner i became more infuriated because all he said was I'm sorry in a low tone with the waitress at his side. then we were basically rushed out the door! do not eat here if you want customer service.

Pasadena locals flock here for bulging breakfasts and laid-back dinners.. In Short
The dark brown building resembles a small chalet covered in ivy. Once through the heavy door, fresh flowers and pastels soften the edges. Booths fill two spacious dining rooms, enough space for weekend brunch throngs. Sauteed spinach, mushrooms and sausage spill out of the three-egg omelette sided with home fries and warm zucchini bread. Shrimp and crabmeat omelette is topped with avocado and sour cream. Belgian waffles are covered with sliced strawberries, banana and kiwi.

Best Resturant in Pasadena. I've been eating at Kathleen's for the past 17 years. This has got to be the best food ever. You can't go wrong. Try the grilled cheese on sourdough, the soups are to do die for, cream of broccoli is super good. Best fries ever eaten. When in season the strawberry crape is delicious. From the seafood to the mexican entrees you are going to have a great meal w/ good prices, and the friendliest staff. Also have to mention breakfast-- any omlette is awsome but the belgium waffles w/ fresh strawberries and bananas. Guarenteed a wonderful eating experience. ENJOY!!!!!

This is kind of funny. Ok...so my family and I are big about dining out on the weekends and we have seen this little restaurant a few times driving around so we decided to check it out. The only thing I really have to say is that for such a small, dingy place I thought the prices were outrageous. Thats it.
