Friendly, Intimate, delicious food

being small makes it intimate and homey feeling but sometimes crowded. If you are in a hurry say so when you sit down as the service is sometimes a little slow, the owner and staff are friendly,caring and do their best to please. The food is very good and generous in portion, the menu very healthy. The sushi is traditional, not a lot of fancy rolls, but for those who appreciate quality, and personable sushi man you won't be disappointed. There are many weekend regulars who add a warmth and humor to the sushi bar. Did I mention that Hori is a GREAT sushi man?

• Pros: great location, parking, wonderful food and sushi
• Cons: somewhat small

Mmmmmmmmmmmm good.

I am, or never will be, a restaurant snob. I do not know what good or bad sushi is ( I would never touch the stuff myself), but all the dishes I have eaten at Sachi Sushi to date have been perfect. It is not extravagant at all, but I am not looking for that in a place to dine. I am just desiring a calm place to have dinner with a friend where the cuisine is cooked well and there's not a lot of hooplah. Sachi Sushi has all these characteristics and would reccommend it to anyone. it is very handy that it is right across the street from the Laemelle Theatre too so it makes for a good night out.

• Pros: Great food and very personable staff.
• Cons: Small dining area.

Authentic, fresh Japanese fare

I love this place! Very authentic Japanese food with such a cute atmosphere! Very "local" feeling. If you think PF Changs is AMAZING, don't go here. My guess is the last reviewer was one of those people.
