great armenian food, really good place, outstanding price, very nice eating atmosphere, real good chicken corinthian, inexpensive plate, bad food
Great Experiance. I walked into BC with the intention of grabbing a quick drink on a hot afternoon. I came across a fun, hopping unique restaurant. I grabbed my wife and we had dinner. The portions were huge. Every meal came with a greek salad or salad bar. I had the chicken Corinthian (the most flavorful chicken breast dish i have ever eaten). I topped off my meal with a 1.99 Long Island ice tea. It really made my day. We will be back... with our friends.
Really Enjoyed It. Went to BC this past saturday after the U2 concert at the Rose Bowl. The food was excellent. I had a Greek chicken pizza and my wife had the chicken kebab dish. The amount of included extras and their QUALITY is what impressed us. I was so stuffed that i have not eaten anything today and it is almost 5 pm on sunday. WE were just talkng and we will have our daughter's b-day party their next week. I am sure my family will get a kick out of the live music and the wonderful atmosphere.
The most horrible food i have ever had. This is the most horrible restaurant i have ever been to. This is an insult to armenian food. There are so many better armenian restaurants. i don't understand what people like.....anyway, waste of money and my waste of time. even the french fries were terrible.
Excellent Prices, Delicious Food!.
Very friendly waiters ? the owner is extremely nice as well and greets a lot of guests who come the restaurant?
My daughter goes to Polytechnic School and Burger Continental has this deal called the ?Poly Special? and students can get a Burgers/Fries/Drink meal for only $2.00!
Very friendly neighborhood restaurant in the middle of Lake Avenue! Next to lots of nice shops ? perfect for an afternoon!
A FANTASTIC Experiance.
I went to Burger Continetal For the first time this weekend. Firends had told me that it is one of the oldest restaurants in Pasadena and they had a good time. We had a spectacular time. The Chicken Corinthian was fresh and flavorful, it truly did feel like there was a party in my mouth. My wife enjoyed the Salmon. In addition to the very generous portions where else do you get a dinner salad and appetizers at no charge. The place had good live entertainment with a greek band.
I am Sold on this place and now I know how this place has been there for so long.
Burgers?. Despite the name, most people don't actually go to Burger Continental for burgers...at least I never have. Sure...they have burgers...and many different kinds. I recommend going with friends and ordering from the Feast menus...they give you the most variety. If you've never tried Middle Eastern cuisine or Armenian or Greek...the Feast menus let you try all sorts of things. There's chicken, beef, lamb and shrimp. Unless you enjoy "close quarters" dining, I would recommend going on a non-weekend night because it gets very crowded. Also, if you're looking for a quiet date place...this is NOT it. It gets loud...especially if you're sitting anywhere near the speakers on the "patio".
My meat was raw. I will never go to BC again. The salad bar looked as though the food had been sitting for hours in its own ranch-like dressing. The selection was limited and unappealing. The only actual fresh "salad" item offered was a mix of greens containing mostly cabbage and some iceberg. Other salad bar items were unidentifiable and were soaked drenched in a ranch-like dressing. I ordered some sort of spiced meat pita wrap and had to send it back because my meat was not fully cooked. I reluctantly ate my new, freshly cooked wrap (well done) but the experience had already been ruined. Plus, there are pigeons everywhere. Will not go back.
Best Greek/ Mediterranian Food in Greater Los Angeles. I have been a patron of the establishment for the past 35 years. I have not been to a better mediterranian restaurant. I had them cater my wedding and got great reviews. The food is fresh and has great taste. The prices are low and do not be surpirsed to see a celebrity in a corner. I will continue to drive from Beverly Hills at least once a month to enjoy one of LA's best restaurants.
Never again. Went to BC last year for the first time and the food was mixed. My husband's meat dish was good but my seafood was totally not fresh and not well prepared. Went to a function last week where BC catered the food and ended up in the ER. I discover that 15 others from the function also came down ill. While I have no hard proof but I think the sheer numbers of sick people speaks for itself. Never eating their food again.
