Best customer service - ever. I'm a regular at Elisa B. for almost exclusively one reason - the sales associates and their customer service. The girls that work there are all extremely friendly and fashion forward. They all have very different styles ranging from hot and trendy to classic conservative so you can definitely find someone who matches your own style. Norma, Noelle, and Elisa are my personal favorites. The minute someone walks in they know exactly what in the store will look good on them. They always pick out great pieces I would never pick for myself that end up looking stunning. Shopping there is like having your own personal shopper! A lot of times I just call in before I come and they pick out things that they think will look good on me. They can do so because they know my size in everything - jeans, rings, shoes, or dresses off of the top of their head! What more could you ask for?! Aside from the girls that work there, the clothes are obviously a plus. While the store is small, the racks are STUFFED, usually grouped by color and/or style so if you come in looking for something specific, it's pretty easy to locate it. They have pieces in their inventory to accomodate every style which is why you seen anyone from a teenaged fashionista to 40 year old executives shopping here. And if you don't find anything you like on one visit, come again! They receive new stuff pretty much every week, so every time you come in there's always TONS of new stuff. If the prices are too high for you, you should still check it out. They have a pretty good sales section and a few times during the year half of the store is anywhere from 50-70% off. Sometimes they also have $5-$20 bins.
Small boutique offering an outstanding selection of fashion-forward clothes for women with big style--and the bank account to match..
In Short
This boutique in the heart of Old Town Pasadena may look small, but inside, it's packed with a fabulous selection of great looks from many of today's hottest designers. There is a lot to love here. Flip through the racks and you'll probably like everything you see, which is unusual since there's considerable range to the selection. Everything from Diane von Furstenberg's signature, sleek wrap dresses to a huge assortment of jeans, T-shirts and jackets from Earl Jeans.
Rude sales people!. Selection is not that great in the store, and the sales people act rude when you don't buy anything after visiting. Sorry, if you don't cater to petite size women, don't push us into buying anything that's two sizes too big! And there is no need act snotty about it, please. Thumbs down from me. They don't even carry anything unique anymore. Very disappointed.
High-End Funk. Adorable clothes, from cocktail dresses to indispensable summer ts to Diane von F. wraps and skirts, all done with a groovy little edge that unifies the shop. It's pricey, but the sales are good, and so's the staff. Splurge a little -- as a good friend of mine always says, you only regret the stuff you DIDN'T buy....
Cute clothes, verrrrrry high prices. This store is small, cute and personable. And I love the brands they carry: classic Juicy Coutour tees and cute Melanie Dizon handbag, plus loads of other cute, sassy styles. Only one problem: every time I walk in this place I suffer from serious sticker shock. I cant be the only person in LA to be flabbergasted that someone would actually charge $90 for a cotton tee. BUT I have to be honest here. I usually break down a few times a year & buy at least one thing. They have a decent sales rack and styles & fabrics that shoppers cant find anywhere else.
