Great Food but...... I use to be one of the starving students that lived in the Pasadena area. While working two jobs to make ends meat I discovered this place and have been hooked ever since. Five years later I still go and have even gotten my husband addicted. I've tried almost everything on the menu. Their ingredients are fresh, their hummus is delicious, their menu choices are health conscious but their service is pretty bad. It's a family owned establishment so they hold no shame in letting you know that they could care less about how they make you feel. Despite the fact that I am a huge stickler for good customer service, I love their food so much I can't stop myself from going again and again

Amazing service and wonderful food!. This place is a wonderful experience! Not only was the food delicious but the service was extraordinary and extremely accommodating! I walked into this restaurant with an upset stomach and walked out with a smile on my face! They treated me like family!I was so happy with how wonderful the staff were that I gave them hugs! I LOVE IT!

Don't count on service with a smile. Count on the mouth-watering food.. As one reviewer observed, if you are not put off by a sourpuss front order, than you will enjoy the food experience at Father nature. The turkey burger wrap is delicious. I could see why the health concious love this hole-in- the-wall place. The lavosh wraps are spill free so you don't have to worry too much about staining your blouse unless you dip it in the creamy tahini sauce that accompanies it. I love the Father nature fries with the sprinkling of cayenne pepper. They are better than those pastrami stand fries. The salad and vegetarian menus seem very popular with the people who ordered after us.

The staff acted like they didn't need my business, so unfortunately for my tastebuds, I won't be a repeat customer. Considerate service is a bit more important to me especially since I am a respectful and appreciative customer, unlike the vulgar man next to me who wiped the sweat off his feet with the stores' napkins and then stuffed more in his loafers. The oaf couldn't even walk one yard to throw away his food trash. Air-conditioning would go a long way in perking up the wilty mood of this place.

Don't have time to wait for cheesecake factory and Le Pain in old town pasadena? Try this place!. My girlfriend dragged me through Delancey street because she wanted to go to forever 21. On the way there, we peeked in Father Nature's Cafe and it was busy; and I always make a point to visit little hole in the wall's whenever I see a crowd. So after enduring what seemed like an ice age in forever 21, I returned the favor and dragged my girlfriend into father nature's cafe. I'm glad I went as the food was very good. I had the father nature wrap and my girl had the grilled chicken wrap. I also ordered the fries which were good but after about 10 minutes became soggy. No worries. The wraps are the reason to go. I loved the lavash that they used. Gave it good texture. As usual I freeloaded from my girl's wrap and her's was good too. The garlic sauce and tahini was just as good as what I usually get at Al-Wazir and Zankou in Hollywood. The next time I go, I'm going to try the turkey burger wrap and a honey baklava.

BEST CHICKEN LAVASH WRAP!!. Hands down, this is my favorite place to go to for lunch! Back when I used to work in old town, I'd walk across the street to Father Nature's for lunch EVERY SINGLE DAY. Some days, I'd bring a wrap home for dinner (although, the wraps don't travel too well). The father nature wrap is my faaaavorite. The french connection, vege, gardeners, greek chicken, double hummus wraps are all wonderful as well. Love their tahini sauce. mmm.. I can taste the hummus now. Quick and cheap.. definitely my pick for a great lunch. OH MY GOSH! i almost forgot... their father fries are THE BEST FRIES I've had. the seasoning is yum. My husband doesn't like wraps but i converted him... or rather, father nature's converted him.. He absolutely loves the father nature wrap, but not as much as i do, of course! =] yum yum yum.

Just Fantastic Wraps!. I first ate here with my girlfriend about 5 years ago and recently we ate here again. The Lavash wraps are just as delicious as anything else on their menu (more like Sharwarma, it is similar to the Iranian Tanur bread, but only this is Armenian) and the usual rostisserie style chicken. The falafels are really tasty and the tahini's one of a kind where you can't get anywhere else but here. Nothing's really changed, the food is delicious and I do somewhat agree with the other reviewer about the owner and its staff, you have to build rapport with them to overcome the boredom, other than that it's a great place to enjoy fantastic wraps.

Great food but so-so service. I used to work near here and ate here several times a week. There's something about their spicy tahini sauce--my mouth waters just thinking about it. I have actually driven up from San Diego specifically to eat here, as odd as that sounds. Now that I live in LA, I make it out a couple times a month. I'm not sure what happened but I distinctly remember the owner being a much happier fellow a couple years ago. Lately he just seems...down. It's really hard to get more than one container of the spicy tahini. I almost feel like bribing them for more. It's cool to sit upstairs. It's also cool that it's off the main drag so tourists don't know about it.

MMM...Father Nature..... Seems to be family owned -and they start cooking your order as you're placing it. The shop is pretty small, but they seem to somehow accomodate the crowds, especially at lunch. And hey, there's always Take-Out! If anything, try the Father Nature Fries...they rock!

another great secret in old town. Father Nature is home to a pretty darn good wrap in Old Town. Start with a giant sheet of flat bred, load it with things like hummus, grilled chicken, or falafels, and voila! You have an extremely tasty, healthy, and inexpensive meal. Highly recommended.
