In Short
Dark wood-paneled rooms--their walls plastered with British advertisements and caricatures of 19th-century parliamentarians--are lit by the muted glow of candlestick sconces. The menu features starters like house-chopped Stilton salad and onion soup. Entrees include rosemary-crusted prime rib of pork, as well as roast duckling and beef prime rib flanked by Yorkshire pudding. To finish, bread pudding is made from buttery cinnamon egg bread, topped with raisins and warm whiskey glaze.

its a nice place to eat! Price was reasonable, We had an early dinner at this place and it was great - the restaurant was not too crowded. The interior was very nice, the service was good, and the food was excellent. its more than enough to fill you up - I had the vegetable combo dish and loved it but couldn't finish it.I like it very much!

If you've ever been to the Tam 'O Shanter in Los Feliz, you'll LOVE the Beckham Grill. The atmosphere is quaintly British, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the food regularly excellent. I particularly love the shrimp appetizer...don't remember what it's called exactly...but they wrap the shrimp with shredded filo dough and deep fry them. They come out wonderfully crispy and are served with a garlicky sauce. I usually have the Chopped Stilton salad...I highly recommend it if you're a bleu cheese fan. My husband usually goes for his favorite NY Strip steak, but I try to switch it up between the pork prime rib or the lamb osso buco or the roast duck. I figure...I can get steak anywhere. Another draw of Beckham Grill is that it's totally off the beaten path. Unless you find it by accident (like us) driving down Walnut to avoid the freeway, you won't get there unless someone else sends you. I'm sending you....GO!!!

Nice and quaint, with nice selection of scotches. Prime rib, the specialty here, comes very rare. I ordered medium and there was maybe a half inch of brown around the edges with juice gushing underneath! What was cooked was good; what was not was taken home. Good sides.
