Luke's is the best Barber Shop I've dver been to.. Luke's is a throw back to the days when business owners took pride in their trade. It is a professional neighborhood establishment that serves the community. Although I work in Pasadena, sometimes I drive in from Playa del Rey for hair cuts and that is over 30 miles. Others come from much further like Moreno Valley. The service is top notch and the conversation is current and respectful

Ben going there for over thirty years, and will not go anywhere else. I have been going to Lukes since I was able to get my first haircut. I am now thirty sevan years old, and still go there. the barbers are excellentand and do a great job. Luke reminds me of my dad, Ray is like an uncle. I now have two boys, seven and three. They love going to Lukes all the time. I will not go anywhere else but Lukes, enless he closes his shop. I don't see that happening any time soon. check them out, you will love them and there staff.

Prepare for admiring stares at your hair...or lack of it.. Long ago, in a salon far, far away (Hawthorne)...I had First Impressions give me a ponytail for seven years. After only one relaxer on my tight ethnic curls and 3 touch-ups my hair was trained and it reached down past my shoulders over the years. The time had come for a change and my wife was worried cause I wanted it all off, down to the skin (it's heading that way anyway.) After a recommendation from her salonist, we called Luke's. It's a family own business and everone is a literal cousin, but they treat you like one of the family too. There is also a beauty supply store nearby for the ladies. They said, Make it down before 7:00pm and well get you in. True to their word, I got in. After some important questions about why I was doing it and what I wanted it to look like, I was sheared like a sheep--evenly cut and lubricated. Mr. Ray also answered my silly questions about skin sensitivity to hair removal products before the cut. Other customers were getting goodlooking fades, high-tops and trims. Me...well everyone at church loved it and so did my wife. Fast, top-notch service in a very fun and MAN friendly environment (sports on the TV's guys.) Brah's, I suggests you come down, stop procrastinating, and get the do...done. I will from now on and I didn't have to use the force to do it.
