Closed. No longer exists.

What a great place it was, but they are gone with the wind -- or at least the wrecker's ball. Their old brick building was demolished by the owner, and Goldstein's is gone from Old Town. You can, however, still visit their La Canada location on Verdugo Blvd near Verdugo Hills Hospital. Great bagels and many varieites you don't see every day (Peanut Butter/Chocolate chip).

Great for breakfast or lunch.......

and maybe even dinner. I love the breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs & herb cream cheese. And then of course, the standard bagel & cream cheese, but oh! the choices. It's hard to make up my mind.

When I go for lunch my favorite is the veggie wrap. Bagel dough wrapped around mushrooms, broccolli, cheese.....YUM!! They have bagel sandwiches with meat too, but since I'm not a meat lover I can't list any favorites. Try them yourself and come up with your favorite to review.

why go to a chain when you can have a yummy bagel from a pasadena landmark-I love the oat & raisin-they have day old bagels for 1/2 price-but go early to get the best selection

Goldstein's offers one of the better lunch deals in Old Town. For under three bucks you'll devour a toasted bagel with herb cream cheese, lettuce, sprouts and red onions. A bit more buys you a lox delicacy, served open faced on the bagel of your choice. And for anyone feeling a bit more adventurous, satisfy your craving by mixing and matching to fit your need.
