This is truly an antique-lover's paradise, with more than 130 different dealers housed in a colossal 33,000 square feet. Dealers are understandably passionate about their collection types or periods, and are eager to answer questions.
The Goods
The range of collections is great, from John Smith's outrageous 1950s tiki kitsch, to Charles Chao's exquisite Chinese pieces, including room screens and end tables. Every period is represented, and while most items are British or American in origin, you'll find items from all around the globe. Check out Ron and Susan Vander Molen's assortment, which includes hard-to-find lifestyle items like an antique baby buggy and a vintage phonograph record player. The paintings in the center are unusually good, and the art deco chandeliers are to die for. Don't forget to step downstairs in the main building, where more vendors offer antiques and collectibles, from vintage linens to crystal to books.

This is truly an antique-lover's paradise! With more than 130 different dealers housed in a mind bogglingl 33,000 square foot space. Dealers are very passionate about their collection types or periods, and are more than happy to answer questions. If a dealer didn't have what I was looking for they were wonderful at referring me to another dealer or business that had what I was looking for. The range of collections is just astounding..you can find Chinese pieces including room screens (which I had been looking for for ages,) and also end tables. Just about every period is represented, although you'll find many that are of British or American origin. (You will find items from around the world.) Some of the cooler things I saw were an antique baby buggy and a vintage phonograph record player! They also have paintings, which are unusually good and some awe inspiring art deco chandeliers. You can also go downstairs to the main building where there are even more vendors offering antiques and collectibles. I'd suggest going early as you can easily spend the whole day there just taking it all in.

All the dealers I have met at the Pasadena Antique Center seems to have a PASSION for Antiques and a desire to share their knowledge with customers! If a dealer doesn't have something I'm looking for they are very good at referring business to other dealers who have have the item or specialize in that type of antique and helping me find what I need and are very helpful.

wow i could not believe the amount of lighting in that place. lots of sconces, tiles, monterey and spanish decor (that's what i was looking for) very well priced. so many dealers. not like some malls who look like they have many dealers but in reality only have a few who just clean out auction houses and fill up their mall spaces to look like they have individual dealers. this place-the pasadena anitique center the original antique mall in the area is the best for individuality!
