One Great Place Ton's Of Great Finds!!! – The Scene
Both flea market veterans and unseasoned newcomers are impressed by the selection of quality furniture and accent pieces at this Pasadena antiques collective. The upscale vendors assemble entire rooms - like an immaculately decorated living room scene with table settings, vases and chandlers - as shopper-friendly displays to help customers visualize items working together in a living space.
This is truly an antique-lover's paradise, Dealers are understandably passionate about their collection types or periods, and are eager to answer question's you may have. There is everything from Spanish revival to the best in art deco. An amazing collection of British and French furnishing along with some of the best vintage lighting in the Los Angeles area. They also have a vast array of impressionistic paintings and hand painted pottery that's sure to catch your eye.You will not find a shop that covers so many areas. Period French antiques mixed with an amazing array of late 19th and early 20th century rugs from around the globe. Although jewelry and small decorations are available, these vendors do not clutter their tables with trinkets. Instead they focus on larger, quality antiques with staple pieces like natural wood tables, armors, bombe chest, fine paintings, and just about anything for a classy home expansion. The best store on the west coast far none!!!
True Antiques Beautiful Store – This store is fantastic. Everywhere you look there is another little treasure. I have been coming to this store for many years and I am always surprised by how different it is every time. There is always new stuff to check out. Also the store is full service. They wax and repair all there pieces before they go out and if you need anything done they take care of it right away.
All around best collection of beautiful antiques. Exceptional and unique treasures throughout the two floors. Great service from knowledgable helpful staff. – When you first walk in there is a great sense of welcome and comfort. The staff is very accomidating, happy to anwer any questions and even offered me a complimentary refreshment. They simply said, "if we can help, we are here." and let me peacefully shop in a place that felt like an endless treasue box. When ever I needed anything, it was done immediately. They offered to document measurments of pieces I was interested in and even offered photographs, that were taken and printed for me to keep. I ended up buying many items, some of which needed to be waxed and/or altered. They were happy to fix any repair in house, which I found infinately convienient. As a designer incompitence is not an option. It is refresing to find a real collective filled with great stuff and who'll cater to you and your clients needs in a timely fashion. Great Collective!
nice selection of Tiffany & Co. crystal, with some china and books
a fun place, even to browse – I have specific pieces I'm looking for when when I enter a furniture store. But in Antiques on Fair Oaks, I usually discover something so unusual, I end up walking out with it, along with what I came in for.
Classy two-story shop offers a broad selection of high-quality American, British, French and Italian antiques. – The Scene
This large but homey shop goes the extra mile, with a smartly designed room-by-room layout that gives new life to lovely antiques. You may have to hunt around a bit to find the staff, but they'll happily (and knowledgeably) answer your questions or help you track down items of the period and type you seek. Don't overlook the second floor (the staircase is by the front door).
It isn't surprising that an antique shop located in affluent, old-money Pasadena would carry such a fine selection of merchandise. You can just imagine yourself curled up in front of a roaring fire in those gorgeous, toile-upholstered chairs. In addition to the wide array of English items, you'll find quite a few French and Italian pieces--like the impressive collection of Italian chandeliers. The prices aren't cheap, but the antiques are top quality.
no individuality – i just bought a home and went to fill it up. so i thought i go to an antique mall for some old goodies. i went here i was a little disappointed. it really lacked individuality. it seemed like the same person was just putting their stuff all over the store. the place was pretty clean though. and a good place to end up after hitting all the other antique stores on fair oaks.
CLASS ACT!! – We were treated with customer service at it's highest level. Antiques on Fair Oaks went out of it's way to help us with questions on our purchases.
We can't wait to come back and check-out new arrivals
Beautiful Antiques! – Antiques on Fair Oaks in the best Antique store in the LA area! The store has beautiful, and unique items and sales staff is friendly and helpful. I would give them a ***** 5 star rating!
