Stephanie is the best!!

Stephanie has been doing my cut and color for about 3 years now. I am CONSTANTLY getting compliments, even weeks after its been done. I have red hair and struggled to find a stylist that could make my color look good even after it started to fade. I have certainly found that stylist!

I have this annoying half wavy-half straight but all frizzy hair. So I have to spend time blow drying it and then flat ironing it every time I wash it. Before my vacation recently Stephanie suggested that i get a Brazilian Blowout so that I could spend more time enjoying my trip, and less time working on my hair. It was the best decision i ever made!! It takes me hardly any time to blow dry, I no longer have to use the flat iron on my hair, and when we got caught in unexpected rain on my trip, I didn't have to worry about my hair getting all crazy frizzy!!

I would highly recommend Stephanie for all services, and when you go, expect not only great quality but great conversation!!

Great Salon, Great Staff, Great Results!

I've been going to Tangles to see my stylist ISABEL for a little over a year now. I love the way she listens to what I want-she also makes great suggestions and recommendations for face shape and color. I love the way she thins my hair out along with the layers- she does what is known as "balayage" for those natural looking highlights. It always looks so awesome!!

Isabel is very easy to talk to and get along with and she has a positive attitude. At Tangles, the staff will make you feel right at home-everyone is so helpful and nice. My favorite part about getting my hair washed is the amazing head massage given by Isabel and/or the assistants. OMG! :)

Although I live in Corona I drive to Pasadena to get my hair done because that's how much I love how my hair looks.

Every time I leave the salon I feel refreshed and satisfied with my hair.

I love Tangles!

Lyn Nakamura at Tangles!

I've gone to Tangles to see Lyn Nakamura for eyelash extensions twice now and her work is absolutely flawless. The customer service at Tangles is always wonderful and Lyn especially makes the effort to make you feel welcomed and at home.

My eyelashes lasted a good two weeks. I think I went back to Lyn on my third week to get a touch up and about a week later they still look great. (Note that the "lifespan" of the extensions depends mostly on how well you take care of them. Lyn gave good tips.)

I also recently got an updo by Lyn for a wedding and she took what I wanted and incorporated it with what looked best on me. The updo stayed in place until I took it down that night. A good sign of a terrific stylist!

Great place. Great!

I found Tangles online and read lots of great things about them so i decided to set up an appt. for my girlfriend to get her hair done there. I wanted her to have fun and enjoy her day off ( and of course look good ) so i trusted Tangles to do that for her. She said the people that work there were very nice and her stylist was very sweet. My girlfriend got the works done and cant figure out which she likes the most because everything she got done looks wonderful. It wasnt until i got a thank you card in the mail from them that i felt compelled to write this review. Thank You Tangles. You and your stylist did a great job.

Worst haircut of my life

Based on the great reviews on Citysearch, I made a haircut appointment with Isabelle (?) last February. I have been meaning to write a review for awhile now, but since I have never ever posted a review before, it has taken me some time...Anyway, I cannot even describe how horrible my haircut turned out. I am still recovering from it. My hair was well past my shoulders when I got it cut (trying to grow it out), I asked for long layers and bangs...Well, I've never had such ridiculous looking bangs, and the layers were her "own style" which I hope she never uses on anyone else. It is 7 months later and my hair is chin-length and my bangs are just down to my nose, since I've had to get 4 or 5 haircuts to try to get to a point where I'm not embarrassed to leave the house without a hat. Seriously, save yourself...there are plenty of other salons in Pasadena around the same price!! I am still in shock that I got this bad of a haircut in Old Town Pasadena. I wanted to give it negative stars.
