In Short – Named for its original Depression-era mainstay, a low-cost serving of beans, this is the third outpost of the third-oldest restaurant in Los Angeles. Located in Old Town Pasaena, American comfort food like burgers and chili are served up in a near replica of the original West Hollywood location, complete with vintage Hollywood and highway memorabilia and brightly colored booths. For those seeking libations, almost 200 imported and domestic beers are served in the restored circa-1890s brick building.

On a Sat night this place gets crowded. A lot of people were here in groups of 4-6 eating dinner. There was no line when we got here, and there is no cover because it's a restaurant. But because it's a restaurant there is no room to mingle. There are 2 pool tables and a foosball table in the place and an outdoor smoking patio. Here is a price break down: shot of crown royal $7.50 , miller light (draft) $5 , rum & coke $6.50
- Pros: Quick friendly bartendars, lots of close parking, no line, no cover charge
- Cons: crowded, pricey drinks, Pasadena Police Department

This place didn't meet my expectations...!! i met some friends that stay in pasadena but It took over 30 mins to get service and the waiter got my order wrong. To top it off the food wasn't all that, I'm sorry but i wouldn't recommend this place at all. As for me i will never go there again
Terrible Food/Terrible Service
by pasresident
Went with a friend on a busy Sunday morning during football season, so it was understandable that it would take a while to get seated. However once we were finally seated (in the dark, dungeon-like basement), the table we were seated at was sticky and dirty. The two waitresses working the basement didn't know who had our table, so we had to wait for them to decide who was going to take our order. Once we finally had our order taken, the food took forever to come out. When it finally did come out, the french toast was soggy and luke warm, the eggs cold and the "real maple syrup" was a packet of Aunt Jamama. Overall, a terrible experience. It looks like they spend more money on the television equipment than they do on the quality of their food and waitstaff.
- Pros: Probably good if you're going for Sunday football and beer.
- Cons: Terrible breakfast, slow and uninterested waitstaff, dirty tables.
