Drinking by the numbers. On a Sat night this place gets crowded. A lot of people were here in groups of 4-6 eating dinner. There was no line when we got here, and there is no cover because it's a restaurant. But because it's a restaurant there is no room to mingle. There are 2 pool tables and a foosball table in the place and an outdoor smoking patio. Here is a price break down: shot of crown royal $7.50 , miller light (draft) $5 , rum & coke $6.50

Avoid it. This place didn't meet my expectations...!! i met some friends that stay in pasadena but It took over 30 mins to get service and the waiter got my order wrong. To top it off the food wasn't all that, I'm sorry but i wouldn't recommend this place at all. As for me i will never go there again

Terrible Food/Terrible Service. Went with a friend on a busy Sunday morning during football season, so it was understandable that it would take a while to get seated. However once we were finally seated (in the dark, dungeon-like basement), the table we were seated at was sticky and dirty. The two waitresses working the basement didn't know who had our table, so we had to wait for them to decide who was going to take our order. Once we finally had our order taken, the food took forever to come out. When it finally did come out, the french toast was soggy and luke warm, the eggs cold and the "real maple syrup" was a packet of Aunt Jamama. Overall, a terrible experience. It looks like they spend more money on the television equipment than they do on the quality of their food and waitstaff.

Avoid This Place. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

We went to eat and drink at Beanery's Pasadena location last night for the first time.

Unfortunately we encountered the most racisst waitress (table 10 around 12:35 AM Saturday

night/sunday morning, blonde and 5-3 - 5-7" tall) we have ever encountered (maybe because we are

indian looking). We have have been in the US for more than 5 years. But this waitress

treated us like we do not understand difference a burnt pizza or a normal pizza. Her tone

towards us was derogatory. This thing is messed up. We talked to the manager 2 times. Hope he

does something about this. We did not and do not want the free coupon that they guys gave

us. All we want is no racism. We want understanding. We will wait to see if anything is done.

One of Kind. We've been going here every sunday for the last month since network TV no longer shows the game we are interested in seeing. Every week its the same problem. The host/hostess are incapable of seating people in a timely fashion. You may wait in a line for over 10 minutes before they will even greet you. Once you get seated, most of the servers are nice enough and do a decent job. Sometimes you have to remind them that you wanted extra lemons. The menu is just overwhelming. There are too many different options and the only thing that leads to is mediocre food. The only reason to go to this place is if you get there early enough and the hosts can seat you before the game starts, you can generally get a table with your own TV.

Busy on football days.... Went on a Sunday afternoon - packed with football fans, but decent food for a bar, and a fun atmosphere. Pleasant and attentive waitress too. I would go back again...

Disgusting food, poor service, worse management. Met a friend for lunch at Barney's in Pasadena on a Saturday afternoon. After standing around and not being seated or acknowleged for 5 minutes we just grabbed a booth. A waitress finally came to take our order, but she forgot about our drink orders. My friend ordered a pizza burger and THERE WAS AN INCHWORM CRAWLING ON THE BUN. We have cameraphone photos of it. We immediately complained to the manager and she just apologized and told us that we wouldn't have to pay for the meal! She blamed the restaurant's food supplier for the worm and didn't even offer to replace the food. We are never returning here again!
