Editorial Review for The Ice House Comedy Club – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Once an ice warehouse, this well-worn and cozy establishment has played host to the biggest names in annals of comedy. From the Smothers Brothers to the Jerry Seinfelds of today these brick walls have seen them all. The club features four separate rooms: The Main Showroom, with tiered, table seating; a smaller, more intimate "Annex" room; the Upper Bar, where you can have a pre-show drink; and the Comics Restaurant, which features moderately priced steaks, chicken and pasta.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasA pre-show dinner at the Comics Restaurant gets you access to the best seats in the showroom, with no waiting. Enjoy your meal, then saunter to your VIPseats.
Know Before You GoA two-drink minimum is enforced in both showrooms.

Im never disappointed when I come here...It's always a blast and the comedians are hilarous! It's better to make reservations to get better seats but the venues are pretty small so no matter where you sit, you have a great view...just beware of the front seating if you don't like to be picked on....there is a 2 drink minimum and their signature drinks are tasty but fruity, not strong...so avoid if you are into hard-core drinks...it can get pricey because of the drinks as other reviewers mentioned...but its a heck of a good time! Sign those little flyers they have at the tables, they send you free/discounted tickets, especially around your bday!

A group of us came here for Rudy Moreno's Latino Comedy Showcase and had a blast! Their food was decent (above-average bar food) and their prices were reasonable. Their drinks were okay but a bit overpriced, especially since it was a two-drink minimum. I felt they could've had the air on more as it was stuffy in there. I'd definitely come back to check out their other shows.
