costco auto program participating dealership / great salesperson.
on july 3, 2008, i bought a 2008 civic sedan ex through the costco automotive program with this dealership. the salesperson, eddy lin, was extremely kind and courteous before AND after the purchase was made. there was never a moment of being pressured into buying the car. i even received a follow-up call about 5 days after buying the car. now, that's great service.
i'll certainly come back to honda of pasadena when i'm ready for another car and i will recommend people to this dealership.
Great Service Department. The Service Department is very professional and knowledgeable. They took care of the problem with my new Honda after I went to TWO other dealerships and was told no thing was wrong with my car. I'd avoid the sales staff, I went into by a new S2000 and the sales guy treated me like I couldn't afford the car and told me I would be better off with a Civic.
The Hounds of Pasadena. I told the salesman exactly what I wanted: color, make, model, price. The first salesperson left and another returned telling me, that guy didnt think he was going to make any money, so he didnt want to show me the car. I agreed to pay sticker, tax/license and Id pay by check. This was fine and agreeable until we got inside the dealership. Then came the extra charges: advertising, lot charges, etc After arguing these charges, the salesman says, "look the dealership wants to a make a couple of thousand." It was perfectly clear they were not out to sell a car unless it involved ripping off the consumer. BTW, I went to another dealership, paid cash for the car and financed a couple thousand for extra goodies. There was money to be made but the hounds of Pasadena didn't have the customer service and respect to make it.
