When you come to Robin's, you step into a world of memorabilia that we have collected from visiting small towns across America. Once
inside, your senses begin to experience a dramatic change--the awesome smell of our smoker prevails throughout the whole place. Every corner of the restaurant is tastefully decorated to give our visitors a whole experience of sound, sight and most important, taste.
When it comes to barbecue we are the experts. In fact back in Wisconsin owner Robin Salzer got his first smoker for Christmas when he was 11 and he hasn?t stopped ever since. Our menu includes everything from barbecue chicken, ribs and hot links to onion rings, peach cobbler and hot wings.

BOMB BBQ. pasadena is stacked with places to go to, but not too many compare to the delicious food you find at at this place. The ribs are amazing, true bbq flavor.
Huge menu. Robins is a great place to go for bbq night. I love there ribs and the bbq sauce. Anyways good service, good food, good price need I say more.
if you don't like it, get your tastebuds checked!. I really can't believe that anyone can post a bad review. I saw the bad review about the salad and chuckled. Perhaps a rib joint may not be the best place to get a salad? Duh! Anyway! Great ribs (and all other food I tried), great management, great service! May not be the best place for a vegetarian, although the pecan cole slaw and the muffins are incredible!
Horrible Food. I ordered the onion rings and Greek salad to go. When I got home there was no salad dressing; it cost $12.95 and was mostly just a lot of iceberg lettuce. The onion rings were soggy, greasy, cold and limp. I cannot remember having a salad which was so bad. I guess most people who eat here don't come for the salad.
Excellent All The Way!. My wife and I found Robin's in the AAA Westways magazine. Being a BBQ lover & a foodie by nature, I am hard to please. Robin's hit the target for me. The atmosphere is fun and casual. The food is plentiful and an absolute bargain! You must try the blueberry muffins and the blue cheese coleslaw. MUST HAVES! Also, definitely have the potato skins with tri-tip on top. There is NOTHING better!
Just OK. The atmosphere is fun, lots of interesting memorabilia to look at. The service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive & friendly. Started off good w/ blue cheese cole slaw and blueberry cornbread w/ blueberry butter. Sounds weird right? But it's good! Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the entrees. We were a group of about 5 so we got to try a little of everything. The BBQ sauces were just ok, we had all 4 that they offer. The hot link was good, chicken & tri tip was dry, and beef back ribs didn't exactly fall off the bone. I think the spareribs & baby back ribs were probably the best out of everything. Bill came out to about $20 ea (including tx & tip). With that in mind, I think we'll stick to BBQ places closer to home.
LOVED IT. I HAD THE BEST SERVICE EVER,THE WAITER WAS SO VERY ATTENTED AND EXPLAIND ALL THE THINGS FROM THE MENU...HE WILL COME OVER THE TABLE FREQUENTLY TO ASK IF WE WHERE DOING FINE AS IN NAPKINS WATER OR SODA AND IF WE NEEDED ANY THING ELSE HE WILL BE RIGHT BACK I LOVE THAT FROM SOME ONE AND MAKES ME LEAVE A GOOD "TIP",THE COOK AND THE WAITER MAKES A" GOOD "TEAM THE MORNING TEAM SHOULD BE THERE ALWAYS,THANKS FOR THE BEST SERVICE AND WE WILL BE BACK SOON FOR SOME DRINKS AND MORE BBQ AND CAN NOT LEAVE OUT THE DESERT( THE BIG MESSY SUNDAY)YUM YUM YUM ....THE SERVERS NAME IS (PATRICK) THANKS FOR MAKEING OUR FIRST VISIT THE BEST!!!!!!!
DEFINATELY THE BEST BBQ WE'VE HAD IN YEARS. We love Phillip's on Crenshaw and Woodys on Slauson but for all around atmosphere, service, music and damn good BBQ we head over the hill to Robin's. The meat is just so damn good. It's really gone up several notches since they build that smokehouse in the back lot. The mgr gave us a tour and it's awesome. No propane, no gas just pure apple & oak wood for smoking. The garbage can combo is our fav for sampling everything they do. The music selection is vintage oldies from the 60's, the place looks like a musuem for beer signs and the service has always been top notch. Worth the 18 mile drive.
