Just your average bear...er, fish. – The Messiah loves sushi, which makes momma (me) very happy.
The Messiah requests to eat here when he wants to get his sushi on (which is about once a week).
The momma always has mixed feelings about this. The sushi here is pretty damn mediocre, but on the other hand, it is also pretty damn cheap. Let me give you an example.
5 pieces of Hamachi sashimi for $7.50. why that is pretty damn cheap but the Hamachi is almost inedible. I say ALMOST inedible because while I could not eat more than one piece, my tongue curled under itself after the first piece, the palate of the 5 year old Messiah, has no clue whatsoever. He ate it up as if it were the last supper.
I'll admit it, I am going to try and shield him from amazing, melt in your mouth fish for as long as I can because with as much as he eats, I can't afford for him to have a discriminating sushi palate. He will have to get a job and do that on his own dime.
(Kathy Lee or Nike, call me, "kay?)
The best sushi! – Shogun is the best sushi! It is such a fun place to go with a group of friends and enjoy awesome sushi and drinks. With a cool food show as well! Staff and management team are very friendly, they are always checking on you and making sure you are happy. The rolls are so good and fresh!! Try the Mexican roll and the double double they are my favorite!
Great Dinner & an Entertaining Show in One! – Great for family dining or a special date! The chefs will keep a smile on your face as they entertain you with their skilled cooking tricks. Large portions, friendly service, and great food! I especially LOVE the Thai shrimp, the salad with the delicious ginger dressing (comes with most--if not all--the entrees), and the Hibachi Cajun Chicken. Will keep returning for more!
Food and Fun – The food here is pretty good, but the most fun is the chef! They put on great shows for the whole family...my favorite is the flaming onion! The seating is a little too close together...if you don't like sitting with people you don't know, I recommend sitting at the sushi bar! This is one of my favorite Japanese places to eat. The service is a little slow, but decent and friendly. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Shogun – Was a good place for show and japanese food. Good little date place I suppose. A plus because they thought it was my bday and gave me an ice cream and a picture. the chef was cool. seating was too close to others.
My favorite – This is the best teppan restaurant anywhere. The food is fresh, good serving portions, great price. The atmosephere is just fun.
