Good Steaks for Cheap. Value for the low budget diner.. This place will not likely shock anyone with amazing food that will never be forgotten. However, what you won't soon forget is that you didn't spend tons of money at a place and not get what you wanted. Steer + Ale has pretty decent food for VERY reasonable prices, and thats why this place is pretty crowded every time I go there. They open at 1130 am for lunch, and you'll usually find people waiting outside for them to open the doors. They have a different menu for lunch and dinner, and both have a good variety of items for once again, very reasonable prices. The steaks are marinated and taste pretty good, although you won't be finding a lot of frills and extras here. It is basic steak, burgers, chicken, done well. The atmosphere is pretty cozy as well, so its a good spot to take a date. I'll give it a 7 out of 10 just for value alone. Don't expect anything fancy. It's worth the trip.

Low Quality Meat. My girlfriend and I decided to try something new, so after reading the "recommended" reviews we decided to give this place a try. We both ordered Burgers, and as we took the first bite, they tasted like fish! Sent them back, and the waitress went on to explain how the cook uses the same grill as the fish. Meat was not of quality. The fountain drinks along with the water tasted like chlorine.

Mmmm...Steak!. This is the best steak for your dollar. The food is served fresh and hot. Bring an empty stomache because you will want to eat every bite. Yeee haw!

Y'all come back now ya hear.. This is a great steakhouse with a great old west atmosphere. The food is great and served hot off the grill. If you're looking for some good food with a relaxing atmosphere go no further.
