best pizza, good pasta dishes, great history, very good salads, great cherry coke, great service, good oh
The Employees are mean, rude, and seem to be very RACE IST. the food is decent, the cherry coke is great..the parking lot is small..there's no where to park, THE THING THAT STANDS OUT THE MOST is..i can't help but remember some of the RACE IST marks the employees have to say about their customers...very disappointed
Best Pizza in So Cal. Tony's is the Best Pizza in So Cal. I used to go to Bruno's Pizza in Canoga Park; but they closed. Now I have to go all the way from Canoga Park to San Marino to get the Sicilian Style Thick Crust Pizza. I love it
Nothing Compares to this Place. I've been going to this place since I was in Kindergarten in 1987 and it hasn't changed since. I still love going there and watching all the kids from the High School hanging out after school. The pizza is fantastic, best anywhere in the area. The salads are very good as well, and the sanwiches are just as good. The pasta dishes are good as well, but the truth is that if I've been there 1,000 times, 990 of those times I order the pizza. The student special is still a great deal with two slices and a large coke (you can choose small, medium, large or extra large) for $4.25. When you go in for the first time, get the student special with Pepperoni, and a Cherry Coke. I don't know what they do, but the Cherry Coke just seems to be better here than anywhere else on the planet. As for the atmosphere, it's always great, though it can very crowded if there is a high school football game that night (Tony's is located right next to San Marino High School) and if you go after school gets out. The parking lot can also be tricky, but there is plenty of street parking and another lot across the street. All in all, one of my favorite restaraunts.
Rest. Mgr. about town. I started eating Tony's pizza since my elementary school supplied it on pizza day once a month. This was ALONG time ago. I consider myself a pizza expert and I will put Tony's cheese pizza up against anyones. Not so much a sitdown restaurant but more of a cafe. Alot of togo's and very consistant. I remember listening to Tony talk to his brothers in italian, it was a great atmosphere to be a kid and LOVE pizza. Try it, you will not be dissapointed.
Best Pizza... my basis for comparison. I grew up on Tony's Pizza. This is what pizza should be. For about thirty years I find that their quality has not dropped at all.
I Grew Up On Tony's Pizza. The best pizza in town, and I speak from, well let's just say many years of experience. The student special is still a deal and they are probably the only restaurant in the area that knows how to make a Suicide.
