Best Authentic Cuban Food!. Mambos has all my favorite Cuban dishes and more.

I love the breaded Chicken (Pollo Empanizado), Shredded Beef (Ropa Vieja) and Garlic Shrimp (Camarones al Ajillo).

Home made Tamales (pork or vegetable), Empanadas, Croquetas, papa rellena and Yuca Frita are all favorites of mine and they do them right.

Great selection of drinks. They have the Cuban sodas that I grew up drinking, Malta, Materva, Iron Beer and Jupina.

They also have dr pepper and root beer on tap.

Save room for desert!

They make a nice rice pudding (Arroz con Leche) and Flan.

Finish off with a cuban espresso or cafe con leche.

A+ Service!

The staff is helpful and friendly. And the prices are great.

Tuesday nights is music night.

A live band really makes Mambos, "The Place To Be!"

Excellent food!. This is your place to find EXCELLENT Cuban food. If you love shredded juicy roast pork, plantains, black beans and rice, this is the place to be... come here for the food and service. It's not a quiet place. The acoustics are a bit loud, but that's only because it's always full, but that's because all the food is EXCELLENT!

this place will get busy soon. Guy Fieri will have this place on the show soon so expect it to get busy. I imagine that since he has it on the show it is worth 5 stars.

One of My Faves!. Mambo's is one of my fave places ever. Not only is the food absolutely fabulous, the service is just beyond lovely. I have never had a bad meal there or a bad experience with the staff or owners. In fact, I feel sorry for the person who fails to have the full Mambo's outing -- good food, good ambiance, good interaction with the awesome staff, all at a great price -- and I suggest giving the joint another shot. I'm a frugal foodie and I can't recommend this place more highly. I think I'l go there right now!

Replace this place with Porto's. Boycott Mambos for unprofessionalism! Read Below! No lie!. I had a similar experience as Hyperspin. When my sandwich arrived, it was cold and not pressed. They took it back to the kitchen. Instead of making a proper one, they overpressed the first one. It wasn't really even a sandwich anymore. Unprofessional & cheap of them! When I asked for a new one, the male owner did the same thing. He grabbed the plate away and told me never to return. His pride gets the best of him. He embarassed me and humilated me in front of other patrons. It was undeserved and uncalled for. Now, I have found other places to get a better priced and tasing medionoche anyway. I will never go back there and I will never recommend the place no matter how desperate a person may be. I even tried to deal with the Business advocacy organization (you know which one) about it, but to no avail. Hey you guys - just go to Porto's in Glendale or Burbank when you want cuban. Ban this place and these crazies owners for life. Don't let them get away with treating cutomers so poorly! Good riddance!

One of our "go to" restaurants. My wife and I have made this great Cuban restaurant one of our regular Friday/Saturday night dining spots. Everything on the menu is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable by L.A. standards. Appetizer sampler platter is a must for groups of 4 or more. Mojitos are tasty, the music is excellent and the waitresses are great. The women in the kitchen are some of the best cooks anywhere.

Mmmmm Mmmmm Good!. Great food! I was especially happy to discover their Picadilloskar, which is a vegetarian dish. Scumptious! The staff is friendly but if you plan on having lunch on a weekday, make sure to get there early! This place gets packed.

good food. This place has nice food and the price is reasonable. My only suggestion is to be very nice to the owners. If you're not nice they won't be nice to you and you may even be asked to leave. Luckily they're nice to me but I had seen an innocent lady, with her co-workers, complain about something minor to the waiter and he became confrontational and told her to "get out". So, the moral of the story, good food and you'll get good service if you behave.

Great Cuban food!. If you want authentic Cuban food in Burbank, this is the best you'll get. The pork, steak, plaintains, black beans & rice- the whole meal feels like you're sitting in Little Havana. (Well, except for the salsa they serve with the Cuban bread - can we PLEASE just get some greasy butter on that?). It's a pretty small place that can get packed during peak hours, but I usually enjoy a late lunch on the patio without any trouble.

Cozy!. I love the food at MAMBO's as well as the atmosphere. An old garage has been converted into a great lunch spot. The walls are a deep red and adorned with black and white photos reflecting Cuban Arts. There's also outdoor seating ... great for an afternoon of Sangria and Pork Sandwiches.
