Ibex Bridals was highly recommended by one of my closest friends. She got her Demetrios dress here and she said she got it for such a great price, the dress looked AMAZING on her. Even though my friend told me to just go straight to Ibex and don't go anywhere else, I am one of those girls that have to do research prior to purchasing a dress. I have been looking at plenty of dresses online and fell in love with Maggie Sotterro gowns. When I looked to see who their authorized retailers are, Ibex Bridals showed up. I was pleased to find out that they are one of Maggie's authorized retailers but I was still skeptic to go there because of all of the negative reviews. I called a few places to see if they carried the Maggie dress that I wanted to try on; however, they didn't have it available in stock. When I called Ibex, they said they had the dress in stock and scheduled an appointment for me.

When I arrived to the store for my appointment, a man greeted me and asked me a few questions. He asked me if I will still like to look at books and choose a few more dresses in the silhouette that I wanted. I said: "Sure, since I'm here already, I might as well!" He assigned me to a consultant who was extremely friendly and knowledgable and we tried on the 7 dresses that I picked. The consultant helped me narrow down my choices to two dresses; one of them was the dress that I originally called about and another Maggie Sotterro dress. I ended up choosing the other dress, once she (the consultant) added the sash and the veil on me, the look was completed and I was sold. I love the dress I bought and even though they didn't disclose the designer of the dress that I've selected, I already knew the designer and model since I spent hours on the computer researching gowns.

My consultant also told me that if I was ready to purchase the gown that she can call the owners to see if I could get a better price since I was a referral. I walked out extremely satisfied with the price and got the dress of my dreams. They had such a wide selection of dresses that it's impossible not to find your dream dress here.

I highly recommend this place and if you are hesitant to go here because of the bad reviews, my advice is to check out the place for yourself.

cant be beat. This place is fantastic! They carry a huge selection and i even found gowns here that i had tryed on in beverly hills for a fraction of the cost! They have plus size too. Very pleased over all, great service and great prices.

The BEST~!. Amazing Place! Such a Large selection!! Such amazing service. I cant say more. I have been here 3 times. once for myself and twice for my sister and my friend and each experience is better than the next. They always gave us the best prices (trust me they do have the most competitive price imaginable.) and such great service. Their whole staff is so so kind. Always smiling and always willing to help the bride as well as one another. They erase all the confusion of buying your dress and make the process simple and pleasant. To all the brides, I will continue to refer brides to this store because they give you the experience you imagine for your dress shopping day.

Blushing Bride. I had a wonderful experience at IBEX today. I scheduled my appointment with them two weeks ago and since then I have went shopping around elsewhere also. Let me tell you, I have met the rudest and snottiest people at other places.. but not at IBEX. Everyone was so friendly with me and with one another. there were blushing brides like myself everywhere and all of them seemed enthrilled with the experience they were having. It made me feel so much more at ease to shop with them. Although I have heard a lot of good things about this place, I read up on some really mean reviews as well. I cant believe these people can say such absurd things about such a fun and happy store. They made my shopping experience a great one. I bought the dress of my dreams for a much lower price than I was quoted at some high end beverly hills boutique. I walked out of the store with a huge smile on my face, a tremendous ego boost and I am sure that everything else will go smoothly because thats how they make you feel... Calm. IBEX is the store for any bride who has had a bad experience and is ready for a good one

Satisfied Bride. So I went into IBEX but didnt know much of what I was looking for except that it had to be in the wedding genre. I had tried on dresses before but never knew what consulting was supposed to be like.. if that makes sense? I tried on dresses for family and friends and they all loved the dresses I wore but I was never excited about any of them. My bridal consultant was so patient with me but she even told me it was obvious that i was feeling dreary from trying on all these dresses. She asked me if she could pull a few me and I reluctantly agreed. She pulled about two and those ended up being the two I was going to choose from. I decided on my dress today and I couldnt be happier. Such a knowledgable staff, they really knew what they were doing and they helped me with my dream gown. I cant thank IBEX enough for such a great shopping experience

Delighted. I am a bride on a mission for the perfect dress, I have been all over LA and Orange county finding many i like but not love. So i found Ibex online, i loved there selection of dress that were showin on there site so i made a trip down to see them.

Let me tell you there collection is amazeing!!!! I couldnt belive how many dress's there was for me to choose from.

My consultant who was so nice, let me try on what i liked. She even pulled a few more for me to see. Well needless to say there was this gorgeous gown in the selection she chose and this turned out to be my dress. Really goes to show that you should try on different things.

I would like to thank Chanel and Ibex for a great experiece and i look forward to seeing my dress in 6 months when it comes in : )

Best of Bridal. Do you know any Picky brides you just wanna smack across the face? Meet me. I am one of the most abnoxious bridezillas youll ever meet. At least thats what everyone says to me on a normal basis since the day I have started planning my wedding. I have had mean looks directed at me at every bridal venue I have visited.. so it was a shocker to me that my bridal consultant had my dry sense of humor and actually called me a sweetheart. Its so amazing to hear that from someone who barely knows you during such a stressful time. She was so patient with me as we looked for my dream gown and she didnt take my criticism of the dresses personally like most bridal consultants, just nodded, agreed and proceeded to the next dress until I finall put on the most amazing and most flattering gown you will ever see in your life. This dress isnt one I would have picked from the books in a million years but she pulled it out for me and urged me to try it on "For her".. I did and you wouldn't believe how much I loved this dress. For the first time I felt like a beautiful princess bride and less like a monster. I was astonished by my own reflection. Anyway I picked up my dress and it was as perfect as I had imagined it would be. I can now relax because all the hard parts are over .. Ironically, as I picked up my dress and the IBEX team said their goodbyes to me and gushed that it was a pleasure working with me.. for the first time with the first bridal store.. I think they actually meant it genuinly. Thanks IBEX

San Diego Bride in LA. Crazy as it is, I drove from San Diego to Los Angeles for one particular dress without a full guarantee that the dress would be there, I winged it.. only because the lady I spoke with was so sweet and so certain that I would find the gown I wanted. I was so sure I wanted the gown that I had initially asked for that I just went for it. I booked my appointment and went in on a saturday. It was fully of joyous brides laughing and joking and having a full out good time. I worked with my bridal expert, Ksenia who brought out the dress that I had initially inquired about. I tried this dress on and it wasn't all that great. Luckily, they had such a large selection that I was able to try on a few other dresses until I put on "The dress" me my sister and my consultant all knew that this was the dress the moment she put it on me.. It just felt right.. it was one of those feelings when you "just know" cliche as that sounds. Anyway I got an amazing deal on my gown and they are able to get it to me on time. Which was another thing I was short on, Time..but they assured me that my dress will be in on time and I am so excited about it. This place is amazing in all honesty I never had such a lavish shopping experience

Must read. I must admit i read some of these horrible reviews and was hesitant about going down there but i called several places and they were the only place to carry a specific Allure Couture dress.

So i went and wow was i gladly suprised when the nice girl at the counter greeted me she was very warm and friendly. I told her that i was after a specifc dress and she replied " Oh yes, we have the dress already for you to see in the fitting room!" I thought wow the service is great too. She kindly offerd to show me the colloections they carried but i was really just after the one. So after plowing my way through the dress's to the fitting room i tryed the gown and new this was my dress! I payed $700 less then what i was quoted at 5 other places on the phone.

I honestly think that the bad reviews were written from the local competitors in the bridal district cause i had a great experience through out all that talk about fake dress's, there was nothing fake about the dress and there even a vendor on allures website.

Run dont walk to IBEX

Bridal JEM. I am a second time bride who is obviously very optimistic. My daughter and sister really didnt want to go into IBEX to buy my wedding gown. In fact we were only there to do some shopping for other things in the garment district. I passed by and saw an absolutely beautiful gown in the window. It was something a first time young bride should wear, cute and frilly. I thought, if they have something that I would have liked 8 years ago why not try them out. I ended up going for the genre of lace Mermaid gowns. I tried on about 4 or 5 of them til I settled on one. Some of them I even tried on more than once just to be on the safe side. The bridal expert that was assigned to me was very friendly and organized and she really did make my shopping experience a positive one and I thank her for that. This place really was a jem. It was hidden in all these small boutiques and I had no Idea about it. I was so excited I decided to write about it as soon as I got home.
