What People Are Saying About Togo's

In Short – The first Togo's opened in 1968 near California's San Jose State University, serving simple, sizeable sandwiches. Today, the same freshly prepared subs are ordered at the counter where diners choose their bread and toppings. Cold options include the signature avocado and turkey with all-white breast meat, and the Italian--salami, capicolla, mortadella, provolone and cotto. Popular hot subs include the pastrami, piled high with mustard. Veggie sandwiches, soups and salads round out the menu.
Great Sandwiches

I was thoroughly glad when this Togo's opened in Glendale. I live in Eagle Rock...and yes, there's one in Pasadena on Lake, but I usually spend more shopping time in Glendale. This Togo's is conveniently located near the Galleria that it's just a block's walk from Mervyn's. In fact, sometimes, we'll park in the Galleria, walk through Mervyn's to eat lunch at one of the restaurants on Brand and then go back to the Galleria to shop. It totally beats trying to find parking on Brand Blvd...which is THE most prime real estate in Glendale. I usually get a veggie with extra cucumbers and avocado...on wheat...of course.
