Originating in Ann Arbor, Mich., in 1971, this international bookstore chain is known for its vast selection of books, movies and music, as well as a comfortable atmosphere. Not as good as Barnes. I prefer Barnes and Noble over Borders but Borders is still decent enough to frequent from time to time. Its got all the standards a bookstore needs. Books, Books, and more Books! Its 2 stories and conveniently located right across the street from the Glendale Galleria. Want to sit down and have an expresso? Coffee shop is right on in there! The staff is pretty knowledgable! I asked this one customer help desk employee about a book he didnt know what I was talking about. (Mainly because I didnt have the correct name of the Author) I asked another employee later on and told him the authors name even though I didnt even know it lol. And he found the book I needed by just mentioning one word from the Title! But all in all...Borders is just a "Borderline" bookstore!

Borders Books. Yes, this is one of those cookie cutter book stores that are popping up in every suburban neighborhood across the country. There is a reason why there are so many, they are a great bookstore. They have all the latest releases, and when a particularly big release comes they have more than enough copies to handle the demand. Their stores are bright and well organized. Their staff is friendly, and their selection is quite large. They have a great kids area where they have scheduled readings of kids favorite books.

This particular location also sells music and movies and has a coffee shop.
