On our way to Home Depot, my wife and I happened upon La Cita. We went in for breakfast and were thoroughly impressed by the authentic food and friendly atmosphere. The service was great. We'll be back.
- Pros: authentic food, friendly employees
- Cons: none

A real find in an unexpected place. I had driven past this little restaurant every day on my way to work for almost a year before I finally tried it. I recommend the chile colorado. Great down-and-dirty Mexican food, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Looks like they have a nice patio too. No margaritas though, but otherwise yummmmmmmmm.
- Pros: delicious food, uncrowded, clean
- Cons: no margaritas
A small treasure in Glendale

In a sea of Mexican Restaurant Chains, once in a while you'll find a pearl. La Cita is a small quiet restaurant that serves pretty good food. I won't call it gourmet, nor will I call it exceptional, but it is better than that processed stuff they serve at the chains. Some suggestions for dinner are, Cocido, Enchilada (Cheese or Chicken) and the All Meat Burrito. I didn't much like the Tamale, but I'll definitely be back. Friendly service, and a clean place, this is definitely a sweet spot.
- Pros: Friendly Service, Cheese Enchiladas, Clean and Quiet
