Amazing Place. I've adopted from the Glendale Humane Society before in the past and have had wonderful experiences each time. This place is just top-notch in every respect, from the friendly and well-trained staff to the well-cared-for and loving dogs and cats that are looking for homes.

The fact that it is a no-kill facility that is spacious, well-maintained, and by-the-book when it comes to health and safety protocols just makes it that much better; I've left each time knowing that my conscience is clear and the health and safety of my home and other pets are protected.

I simply cannot recommend this place more.

no-kill shelter, excellent staff. This is a wonderful no-kill animal rescue organization. They usually rescue otherwise adoptable animals (healthy and non-aggressive towards humans) that ran out of time at a high-kill shelter. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. They feed the animals a better diet than most of the general public feed their pets. Yes, their adoption fees are more than the more common high-kill shelter, but I'm willing to pay the extra cost to know that they are giving loveable, affectionate animals a long-term chance for a forever home.
