Pizza... and childhood memories. Scarantino's - blast from the past! This restaurant reminds me of my favorite childhood pizza parlor but more adult and upscale (i.e. no plastic flatware). (The good thing here is the familiarity and familial nature.) The host and wait staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Had a great pizza and entree. Salad dressing was great. Oh, and the wines - delicious. Definitely one of the more enjoyable dining experiences I've had in a while. The only warning (and I wouldn't call this a con in the slightest) was that the clientele was more "experienced" as an early evening crowd (read: early birds). However, the families and couples were filing in as we left.

Quality.. Hidden Gem In Glendale. I will be going there again tonight!!! This will be my 2nd trip down to Scarantino's in the last 3 days... I love it.. It's good and you won't leave hungry... Just go... and they will take care of the rest... CHICKEN PARMIGIANA!!!

Best italian in the eastside!. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was 6, and the food has been consistently amazing, just as it was 17 years ago. The place has an old-world italian ambiance, and the service is top-notch. The servers definitely contribute to the homey environment. The eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti marinara and fettuccini alfredo are all to die for.

Food, Service, Ambiance, Prices!. My family and I have been coming to Scarantino's since I found it 24 years ago. It reminded me of the food I grew grew up on in Newark. I moved out of Glendale and I still make the trek because I know that as long as the Scarantino family run the place there will be no dissapointments. My family spends at least 2 or 3 Birthday dinners a year here. Salúte!

THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY. I LOVE SCARANTION'S I HAVE BEEN EATING THERE SINCE I WAS A YEAR OLD I AM NOW 20 YEARS OLD AND I STILL ENJOY EATING THERE THE FOODS GREAT ALONG WITH THE SOUP WHICH I MUST SAY IS THE BEST SOUP I HAVE TASTED MY FAMILY HAS BEEN GOING TO SCARANTINO'S FOR OVER 15 YEARS IF YOU ENJOY GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU I MAKE 60MILE TRIPS JUST TO GET TO GLENDALE AND ITS WELL WORTH IT

Not very good. The place smelled badly, somewhere in between an old musty house and an old-folks home. It was a little dirty, and the food was not very good.

Their bread was nice.

I would recommend going to Two Guys from Italy in Glendale instead.

One Of The Best. The food and the service is one of the best in the Southern California Region. Beside serving excellent authentic italian food it is also one the most inexpensive Italian Restaurant's serving quality food in the country. This family owned eatery serves both soup and salad with your meal that includes one of the Best Crusty Italian Breads you can find in the Southern California Area. There is no equal to their Ministrone Soup. All of their Meat and Fish Entry's include a side of Speghetti. This little jewel of a restaurant which is located on the border of N.E. Los Angeles and Glendale is one of the best values in the country.

Delicious!. This is one of those can't miss restaurants. Every time friends or family comes into town, I take them here. The food is delicious and the service and decor is great. The minestrone is the best on the planet.

It can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so get there early.
