This award-winning restaurant chain is known primarily for its baby back ribs, but through the 30-plus years since its flagship location opened in North Miami, the family-friendly menu has expanded to include barbequed chicken, char-grilled steaks, burgers, pasta, seafood and salads. All ribs are served with one of the accompanying sauces (Original, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Red Hots, or Honey-Chipotle), and two sides like coleslaw, fries, or a baked potato.

Takes only one bad waiter to have a bad experience!. I took my grandparents for their anniversary there and also took my parents. The waiter was was very rude, I felt like we could not make any requests...even for water. The guy looked like he was just there to work but didn't really care that his job description involved giving good customer service. He didn't really want to check in our table, so the couple of times that he had to he would try to go away really quickly or give us attitude when we asked for something. Hey, I remembered being at a job I hated too, but I didn't take it out on the customers. He gives that Tony Roma's a bad name......he acts like he was forced against his will to work there! I didn't want to ruin the rest of the day for my grandparents, so I waited until I got home to call the manager and complain about our waiter. She apologized of course and even offered us free dinner vouchers.....but even for that I never went back!

Unresponsive Manager. Worst experience ever had at a Tony Roma's. Our Catholic elementary school graduates and their families received absolutely abysmal service - after an hour and half of waiting - we received lukewarm food. The manager was indifferent to us - and those of us fortunate to sit in the restaurant and not in the meeting room received far better service. Heard nothing but excuses from a whiney manager who should have known more than two waiters were needed to serve a party of 60 people.

Good place for ribs. Most of these chain restaurants are the same. It's good when someone in the group feels like ribs but they also have other good choices too. A baked potatoe and a salad is a fine meal for anyone that doesn't eat meat.

The restaurants I've been to have a bar and lots of booth seating. Service is okay and the price is reasonable.
