Okay, that's a joke. But really this place is super-great. They have all of those weird different types of sausages that you only seem to be able to find in Germany.
Oh yeah, but this place is German. . . go figure!!
- Pros: German sausage in Glendale that rivals what you find in Berlin!

Awesome Sausage, Great Prices, and Credit Cards Now Accepted

I just took a massive to go order from the deli case for a cookout I was having. I went on the Saturday before Labor Day, bustling place. They had 6 women behind the counter so service was fast. The sandwich counter had a constant line of about 10 people, but again it moved fast.
I bought the FRESH Bratwurst, Foot-long jalapeno sausages, extra hot Polish (actually were hotter than the Jalapeno), knockwurst, wieners. Everything was great. The casing was great, everything had that "pop" when you bite into it.
Sometimes extra hot (spicy) foods don't have any taste just heat, but here the spicy sausages still delivered on flavor. The knockwurst cooked up to about an inch thick and were fantastic as were the wieners.
The also had, Turkey Knockwursts, bockwurst, Hungarian, apple pork sausages, breakfast links (OMG they looked awesome with the thick casing on them, fresh ground pork sausage (for patties), braunschweiger, liverwurst, assorted bologna, black forest hams and on and on.
Also, they now take credit cards, Mastercard and Visa, plus debit cards. I STRONGLY recommend Schreiner's.
- Pros: Incredible variety, very reasonable for the quality, friendly staff
- Cons: Long drive unless you are in Glendale

In this day and age there is no excuse not to accept credit cards. Nowdays nobody carries their checkbook anymore, many times I have gone there and had to leave because I forgot my ckeckbook.
