Well, I wish I would have done my homework. I bought my used Nissan Quest from Foothill Nissan on Dec. 24th, 2006. First, they did not pay off my trade. Every day I called, they had some bs story for me. I was getting bills for both cars. I purchased an 04 in 06 with only 20,000 miles. I figured I was safe, however, I would never buy a used car without an extended warranty. Everything was good, or so I thought. Payed a little more than I wanted too. Wish I would have kept my old van, but it was too late. My fault there! Today, at 36,000+ miles, the transmission is slipping. I take the vehicle to my local dealer, empire Nissan in Ontario, Ca. He pulls up my contract and low and behold, someone else's name is on the extended warranty. Luckily, the car is still under manufactured warranty, but Gary (my rep) tells me to call Foothill Nissan right away to get this straightened out. I do, and Dino tells my that he has no record and conveniently they have changed staff and that noone that worked there in 12/06 is there today 3/08, 15 months later. Not even the same janitor. he was unproffessional, rude, and basically called me a liar. I have no proof that I purchased this warranty. I called my finance company and they were never sent anything about the warranty or the GAP insurance we purchased. So, bottom line. Please stay FAR FAR away from Foothill Nissan. I wish I could stand at the door and tell everyone who is about to enter to turn around and go somewhere else. I'm here totally stressed about having tranny problems at 36k miles and I have nothing I can do about it. At this point, I don't even think an attorney can help.

Foothill Nissan has not submitted DMV paperwork or paid off my trade in after 2 months. I formally have opened a complaint to Nissan North America and the DMV. Do Not Buy from these Guys

I recently purchased a vehicle from Foothill Nissan. Contrary to some of the other reviewers, my buying experience was satisfactory; however, the dealer has failed to do the most basic paperwork, they did not send my registration to the DMV and to top it all off, they did not payoff my trade. Repeated calls to the dealer have netted zero callbacks. I am just trying to figure out what my next option will be, I am thinking of calling in an attorney at this point, maybe that will get their attention. Do not, I repeat, do not buy from this dealer.
