good italian food, love pizza, fast service, good relaxed, good family place, friendly very, great kid
Great New Staff. I have been going there for years and just recently this July 2010 I noticed a great change, the food taste better and well served and the food was served fast and well cooked. My family from out of town had to tip the Chef for the great tasting food. We love this place and I am glad it is changing for better like the old times.
don't go in there you will run out. it was good for a while gave it another try and it was great just whent back and guess what.... the owners re-staffed and everything whent down the toilet again.... it is sad to see a place with sooo much history crumble like this one has....
ditto not what it used to be.. We also have been eating here for years and love the food. Must agree the kids are taking over, 1 boy running in between tables even knocked wifes pruse off her chair and then stood and stared at her. tables are now closer together after the remodel. Seating time is variable as they are a popular local eatery. Service is the same 1 waitress awesome other just so so. last week the cooks forgot our order again, this has happened to many times to be a lack of staff or just to busy. Took 8 friends and sat in front of where new wall is, Waitress just kept walking by us for an hour before we finally waited long enough for our food, they actually forgot our order. Children need to be kept under control and behave, we appreciate that they support childrens sports and charities but they (the kids) have to have manners in public. Food has always been good up to the point of remodel, yes portions are smaller and prices climbed, but all in all still worth the price.
Aint What It Use To Be!. We've been going to Dominick's for about 10 years and after our last trip, have decided we'll be reducing those visits. The place was remodeled about a year ago and that started it's decline. It reeks of the children thinking they can run the business better than their parents. Along with the bright lights and the quilted wall hangings, Dominick's charm and down home style have been refurbished right outta da joint. They're sporting new menus with higher prices, less selection and smaller plates. The best thing it has going for it, is they've somehow retained their servers. The pizza and food is good for the most part but the dining experience it's just not the same.
Consistent, decent Italian dishes. This restaurant is nothing fancy, but has good food, fast service and offers lots of menu choices. Their eggplant parm is really great and their bruschetta is some of the best I've ever had. I would also suggest you have their minestrone soup. It's a good family place, relaxed and unhurried, plain decor but very fair prices. We eat there at least once a month.

Great food, kid friendly and down to ear. Simple ambience, good basic pastas, and awesome pizzas. Very busy alomst every night of the week. Very popular with families in the La Canada/La Crescenta Valley. Very kid friendly.
