If you're looking for a delicious meal that feels "home cooked" like grandma used to make then this is the place. MAKE RESERVATIONS - or feel free to grab a seat at the bar and listen to the live folk music.
JUST A GREAT PLACE. This place is not like any other. Its is an old saloon and you with sit at a booth or at the bar. Just like where the cowboys sat wanting their drinks. Its very laid back and you do not have to dress up at all. Talk to the person next to you or anyone. Very rustic, very friendly and the food is fantastic. Try something you never ate before. Next door is a winery. The OLD PLACE is hard to find but once you do, you will never forget it. If you like DIFFERENT, this is the place. HAVE FUN and EAT GREAT FOOD.
Awesome Vibe. This place is awesome- I recently discovered it but I'm one of the last people- it was packed even on a Sunday night. I had the lobster sliders which were delicious. My friend had an amazing mustard crusted cod. She was claiming it's the best she'd ever had. Really cool vibe- this place actually used to be the general store and post office way back when. very special find.
Truly Amazing. A friend took me to "The Old Place" and I was amazed just as soon as we pulled into the driveway. This place looks as if it were built in the early 1900's and has never changed. Once you go inside you get this feeling as if you must be in the wrong place. You are seated by the owners wife, and she will offer you one of the following dishes, Steak or Clams. Don't bother asking for a menu, there isn't one. If you like steak, this is the best place I have ever been to. The steak is cooked on an open oak fire. Its just amazing. Don't ask about desert, there isn't any. I love this place.
