  1. la paz is just a mile away and worth the drive if you want good mexican food.
  2. The food was decent, the outdoor seating was nice, but the waitress was snotty, and they wouldn't allow my dog to sit with us.

Relaxing Dining with great food & drink

by RSM1980

We have been here many times.

The food is very good with a range of selections that should make anyone happy. The food is tasty and can be spiced up on request.

The Margarita and tequila menu is excellent with a deep selection that makes for a fun time sampling the different tastes.

The atmosphere is casual with covered and patio dining and the waiters are all friendly and happy to help out with recommendations. There is no hostess, but we have never waited more than 30 seconds to be seated.

And the valet parking is free, when they are there (it seems like valet is only on the weekends).

BLAND and over cooked. and black hair in my salad was not pleasant either.... but they did remove it from bill.

Meican Food Imposter

by genet

Any self-respecting So Cal diner knows what real Mexican food is - and this it ain't. It's not easy to make Mexican cuisine anemic and bland (did they fly a chef in from England), but they've done it here. I ordered pork fajitas and I'm still wondering what kind of mamal I consumed, because it was not like any kind of pork I've tasted before. I mean that in a bad way. My wife's burrito was equally unappetizing. The kids, luckily ordered non-mexican fare - fish 'n Chips - and escaped unscathed as far as I could tell. The salsa should have been a tip off: watery and flat. Service is odd too. No hostess waiting at the entrance, and there's no obvious "greeting area" so you start wondering if you have come to the side door, or if it's a seat-yourself set-up or something. margaritas were tall, but weak.

  • Pros: Kid Friendly
  • Cons: Dull Dumbed Down Mex
