Garbage Food at a Ridiculous Price. Red Robin in Calabasas used to be great 6 months ago. If you haven't been there since, you won't believe how bad its gotten. The new store manager informed me that 'corporate' bought the store from the original owner - - and they have now 'standardized the menu' to be consistent with the Red Robin image. And thats just the way it is, he says. Prices have gone up... bar drinks are small, chincey, and expensive.. the nachos consist of 12 chips pre-prepared for you and are expensive.. fries are chewy and nothing like before.. hamburgers don't have the flavor... smaller menu.. expensive for little..

In all cases, their food has gotten worse. When I asked the manager why they didn't keep the original menu and quality food that the original owner had been providing for years - - he blew me off like I was stupid. Never going back.

Colorful, chaotic restaurant promises loaded burgers and endless fries for kids and a fully stocked bar for their parents.. In Short
With a bright red color scheme, enormous booths and TVs galore (even in the bathrooms), this loud, lively spot aims to make families feel right at home. The creative menu offers 22 different burgers--from teriyaki-marinated Bansai with grilled pineapple to the 5 Alarm with pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, salsa and chipotle mayo. Soups, salads, and entrees of fajitas, fish and chips and Cajun-spiced shrimp round out the casual American menu.

Good Family Outting. For a chain restaurant, Red Robin isn't bad. The food isn't too greasy, and it tastes good for what it is. Stick with the burgers and you'll be fine. This is not a place to get adventurous with food. Friday nights are fun because they have a great magician who goes around from table to table performing cool tricks. That's really the best time to experience this place, especially if you're with kids because it keeps them distracted until the food comes.
