rip off - bad software - no refund- bad customer service – after paypal dispute over a bad software purchase/download. apparently paypals buyer protection is worthless for " intangable " items. so for our money we got a screwed up computer ( caused by their software )
so we lost our $20..customer service doesnt seem to want to refund our money....
we got nothing for our $$$ .. just the joy of restoring our computer and dumping their bad software...
WONT REFUND MY $$$ PROMPTLY – bought and downloaded non working software-after it screwed up our pc ( which we had to restore to earlier settings/dump the bad download )
we purchased the software online and paid w paypal..
after opening a dispute w paypal its been 10 days and they still havent replied to the dispute...
after finally finding an email address to contact cust servicet-they inform me that it may take up to 45 days to refund my money...
i then reply that its a simple matter to refund from paypal...
but im not expecting any effort on their part as they must not even check the email notifacation from paypay...
I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS CO A PENNY....EFFF THEM
Don't waste your time or your money!! – I purchased a Mac Super bundle of software from this company and upon downloading and attempting to register the software, found out that the serial numbers and license codes they emailed me were invalid. I sent them 2 emails to try to get this resolved but received no reply. Then I tried calling them. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, the man who barely spoke english could not help me so he transferred me to customer service so I could get a refund, which I waited on hold for another 25 minutes. The guy was nice and emailed me a return form to fill out. Hopefully everything goes as planed.
Avoid this company like the plague!!!! – Nova put a charge on my Credit card I didn't recognize and provided a ph # on the bill - the WRONG number. After an hour and 15 min - and SIX phone numbers - 5 being wrong - I finally had a Jacka--- who had taken nearly 30 minute to look up my charge - Duh!!! High tech company that can't look up a data base!!!! He was arrogant, condescending and lectured me because I was agnry at the abuse of over an hour to find out what I was charged for.
Avoid this rotten company like the plague- They have over 160 complaints at the Better Business - only 20 "settled" - what does that tell you about Nova Development? Bad Bad Bad Bad customer service - these folks do NOT appreciate the people who pay them. AVOID NOVA!!!!!!!
Unbelievably Bad – I ordered a copy of Parallels 6 on CD. It never came. I called them 4 times over a 6 week period. Each time I got a different excuse. The end result was that they have completely ignored me, except for charging my credit card. Fortunately, my credit card bank is very good- they removed the charge from my card and will charge it back to Nova.
Horrible, Deceptive Company – This was the worst customer service ever!! So bad in fact that I felt compelled to write my very first review online. After I accidentally purchased software for my Mac, that was only made for PC, I called immediately to refund my purchase (it was only 30 min after I downloaded it). Not expecting a problem (with a satisfaction guarantee) I followed the directions for a refund. After waiting 40 days with no refund I called was given another direction and still no refund. I called again and was given another direction with still no refund. Needless to say they only placate you to get you off the phone with no intention of ever returning your money. The worst company ever and a total ripoff. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. And to top it off they won't unsubscribe me from their e-mail list.
Worst customer service, unresponsive, poor software – I was solicited by email by Nova Development to purchase an upgrade to Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 4.0. When I received the upgrade, the disk would not install. I emailed Nova letting them know that the disk would not install and that there was a problem with the disk. I follow their instructions to the T including wiping possible residue off of the disk, etc. I installed other software and had no problems with the disks so it's not my computer or the drive. Everything else on my computer is working perfectly. I got the second disk and had the same problem. I emailed Nova again but now I get no response. Is this company still in business? If that's the way they treat their customers, they shouldn't be in business. I paid for software that doesn't work and they refuse to send me a disk that works.
