In Short – It's almost like sitting in someone's kitchen--chaotic, communal and appetite-stimulating. Homey dried flowers and hanging baskets feel familiar but the ingredients from this pantry are impressively foreign. Stuffed cases of gourmet goods line the casual-chic dining room, with sturdy wood tables and paneled windows. A vast sandwich selection like the Brie with balsamic and mixed greens are popular items, as are salads like the tangy green apple, chicken and yogurt. Take-out dinners feature chicken entrees with sides of grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Try the Blackened Chicken Pasta at Marmalade Cafe

I ordered take out from a really nice bartender at Marmalade Cafe who remembered my huge order without writing it down. We got French Onion Soup, Bruschetta, Caesar salad, Santa Fe Skirt Steak (which came with really tasty fries) and Blackened Chicken Pasta. The pasta was very good and the blackened chicken was to die for! No wonder the bartender girl advised me that it is the best thing on the menu! The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the French Onion because the bread tasted stale or maybe even moldy.

Great "anytime, anything" restaurant.

Marmalade Cafe is the type of place you go when you want nice American food in a homey setting. I've never been disappointed here. There is nothing particularly special about the place, but it's always a safe bet. I've heard they have great brunch, though I've never had it before. It's a really cute restaurant that I doubt I'd ever turn down.

Used to be so good, what happened. Food has gotten average at most. Service always slow. Don't go in after a movie lets out. Noisy.
