Exceptional food and service.
I have dined at Delhi Palace and used their take-out service for several years. Since the first time I had dinner with my family at Delhi Palace, I have been impressed with the food quality and exceptional service. The food is authentic and fresh. The dinner menu is elaborate and they customize all the dishes to the spice level requested by the customer. As a vegetarian, our favorites are Onion Bhaji and Pakoras for starters, Paratha, Onion Kulcha, and Garlic Naan for bread, and Malai Kofta, Matar Paneer, Shahi Paneer and Baigan Bharta for main courses.
The waiting staff is professionally trained and is very polite and courteous. In addition, the staff is very knowledgeable and always available to provide a detailed description of the dishes.
I would strongly recommend Delhi Palace to those who would like to try Indian food for the first time and those who have prior experience with Indian cuisine.
Fantastic Indian Cuisine !!!!!!!!!!. I got exposed to the Indian cuisine when I visited India's Independence Day Mela held at Pierce College grounds on August 16, 2008. We tried a couple of food stalls to taste the food until we saw a long line at one of the stalls. This stall was being operated by Royal Delhi Palace. The restaurant owners were selling vegetarian and non-vegetarian combination plates at cheap prices to introduce people to their restaurant's food. My friend and I grabbed a combination plate each and totally enjoyed the meal. We had Saag Paneer, Chana Masala, Chicken Makhni, Naan Bread, Rice and Aloo Tikki. The quality of food was fantastic as it was freshly prepared. The owners were themselves serving the food to the customers, a great way to build customer rapport. Since then my family and I have been to the restaurant twice, to enjoy the lunch buffet and dinner. The food is amazing, the service is friendly and warm. The restaurant exudes beautiful ambience, it is neat and clean. The wait staff is eager to help. Most of all the prices are very reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. I have since recommended Royal Delhi Palace to several of my friends and colleagues. One of them is considering using the restaurant's banquet facility for his wedding reception. This restaurant is a gem.
Superb Indian food seasoned just right, fantastic customer service and beautiful ambience. I work with a national convenience food store chain, and recently we had an opportunity to organize a lunch meeting for our franchisees at Royal Delhi Palace. The lunch was superb and the service was excellent. All entrees and appetizers were bursting with flavor and the food was all freshly prepared with rich aroma. The franchisees were delighted that we selected Royal Delhi Palace's banquet facilities for the meeting. The owners of the restsaurant, who helped us organize the event and prepare a menu, were polite and very helpful. The wait staff went out of its way to make sure that lunch started on time and that all items were presented beautifully. Royal Delhi Palace has one of the most beautiful banquet rooms and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. This place exudes warmth and friendliness. Our company's senior management team was very happy with the choice and made a decision to use this restaurant for future events as well. The restaurant has loads of free parking and offers patio dining too. This restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in southern Califorina. I strongly recommend it for corporate and private events and dining.
Fantastic Indian cuisine, courteous and attentive service..
My family has enjoyed many years of eating lunches and dinners at Royal Delhi Palace Cuisine of India. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The service staff is courteous, attentive and extremely polite. Unlike most restaurants the waiters do not ask you how the food is as soon as you put the first bite into your mouth leaving you trying to chew your food and respond at the same time. These are professionally trained waiters that allow you a few minutes to savor your food before checking in with you to make sure everything is to your satisfaction.
We recently rented out the private room for a birthday party which was an amazing success thanks to the owners who are hands on involved in every aspect of the business ensuring top quality throughout the entire evening. We had looked at several other restaurants for private rooms, prior to booking at Royal Delhi Palace, for this party and were disappointed to find that what most restaurants refer to as a private room, is really just a few tables in the restaurant that are separated by a half wall from the rest of the dinners offering virtually no privacy. Royal Delhi Palace offers a true private room which includes two private restrooms, and looks like an upscale hotel ballroom. After booking the event the owners were great about responding promptly to my questions, and worked with us to make sure that all the little details were taken care of. The day of the party I arrived at the restaurant about an hour before the party began and everything was taken care of. The appetizers and dinner were served at the arranged times and were delicious. The best part was that each dish was clearly labeled so that the guests that were not familiar with Indian cuisine were comfortable trying each dish. Many of our guests, even the ?first timers? were amazed at how flavorful the food was and plan to return to Royal Delhi Palace on their own.
Pros: great food, great service, great value.
Fantastic Food, Superb Customer Service and Reasonable Prices. I work with a leading bank in Santa Monica, and recently Royal Delhi Palace catered food for over 150 people at our offices. We had several meat and vegetarian dishes, rice, naan bread, salad and dessert catered from this restaurant. The food was piping hot and fresh. All entrees were properly identified with their names to enable a novice understand what he was eating. All items were amazingly delicious and the service was superb with flawless execution. We had only a litlle less than 2 hours to enjoy this feast, and it was fantastic that the buffet station was set up just at the right time. Our interaction with the owner of the business was wonderful and he followed up after the event to see how everything went. The majority of the people noted down the name of the restaurant so they could visit it to enjoy private dinners with their families. Royal Delhi Palace is certainly among the very best of Indian restaurants. I visited the restaurant for dinner with my significant other and my experience at the restaurant was just as wonderful. Superb and freshly prepapred food, terrific customer service and reasonable prices with ample parking. The wait time was minimal. Undoubtedly, this is the place for Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers its complete menu for take-out and catering purposes as well. The place is tastefully decorated and the owners interact with the customers effortlessly and speak flawless English. They appear highly educated and professionals in their background and experience. This place is the final destination for the finest Indian cuisine. Period.
Amazing Indian Food and Courteous Customer Service. My family and I have enjoyed our family dinners quite regularly at Royal Delhi Palace also popularly known as Delhi Palace, Cuisine of India, for the last 9 months. This restaurant has the most spectacular Indian food that we have ever tasted. All items are freshly prepared and seasoned just right. The curry dishes don't all taste the same as in many other restaurants. The service is terrific. The owners are personally involved in the daily operations. There is nothing better than Indian beers to complement the food, and this place has a huge selection. My company gets food catered from this restaurant on a regular basis, and we have always been delighted with our experience. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, your search for a fine dining restaurant should come to an end after you visit Royal Delhi Palace. This place is a gem with beautiful ambience and a cozy atmosphere. Another plus, parking is never an issue as there are loads of free parking spots. Prices are moderate given that this is a fine dining restaurant. The place offers its complete menu on take-out basis as well. The menus are posted on the restaurant's website. No reservations are needed at this gem. My company has used the restaurant's beautiful banquet facility for company events and meetings. Wow! The restaurant caters at private parties and specializes in on-site catering for weddings, birthdays, and all sorts of private events. Just this week, my company got food catered for a big company event for over 150 people, and the food and service were just amazing.
Used to be a great place....has lost its appeal.
My colleagues and I used to go to Royal Delhi Palace very often for lunch. It had a good selection and the service was fair. For the last several months however, the service has taken a turn for the worse. Including the staff treating customers like annoyances rather than valued guests. On a very recent trip we witnessed one staff member performing an unhygenic act (that Cit y Search won't allow me to state), that lasted several minutes and occurred several times. I will try and allude to it by just saying this is something someone, especially anyone working with food, should go to a restroom to do, using a tissue and then washing his hands profusely. Not out in the open for quite a long time, then bring you more bread!
I'm sorry to be so crude, but wanted to share that experience. I informed the owner, who stated he would discuss with his staff. So in all fairness this may not happen again, but I won't be returning.
Enjoy your dining in general!
Splendid Indian Food - Among the very best. Excellent Customer Service, Beautiful Ambience, Reasonably Priced, Free Parking.. Royal Delhi Palace, located in West Hills serves the best Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a nice website that shows the menus. The entire menu is available for take-out and dine-in. Customer service at this restaurant is friendly, and the server staff is attentive. The seasonings and sauces used for various dishes don't all taste the same. Chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetarian dishes are all wonderfully seasoned, and can be spiced up according to individual tastes. I have ordered Aloo Paratha, and Plain Paratha with my entrees, and they are just perfect. This is a nice variation from the Naan bread. I have spent plenty of time in India for business purposes, and the food at this restaurant is as authentic as it can possibly get. Royal Delhi Palace carries a large variety of Indian beers that are perfect with Indian cuisine. I come to this restaurant often with my business colleagues and family and have never been disappointed. The owners, who are a husband-wife team, are actively involved in the business and pay attention to the smallest of details. They establish a personal rapport with the customers, and make time to solicit customer input on the quality of food and service. The ambience at the restaurant is beautiful, and there is loads of free parking. The wait time is minimal. The food quality is unmatched. Prices are reasonable. What else can I ask for?
Spectacular and Freshly Prepared Food. Beautiful Ambience. Patio Dining. Very Good Customer Service. Moderate Prices.. I moved in the San Fernando area from London, U.K. and had been searching for a moderately priced restaurant served high quality Indian cuisine. My search concluded when I discovered Royal Delhi Palace. Having been born and raised in the U.K. whose national dish is Indian curry, and someone who has eaten Indian food all his life, I am a connoisseur on Indian food. Royal Delhi Palace has got to be right at the very top. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, and customer service is very good. I have tasted several dishes from the menu and they are spectacular. I have tried the restaurant's wide selection of fine imported Indian beers that complement the cuisine perfectly. The owners, who seem to be a highly educated couple, meet and interact with customers, and have a great sense of humor. Royal Delhi Palace has its entire menu available on a take-out basis as well.. Also, the menu is posted on the restaurant's website. If you appreciate fine Indian cuisine that is moderately priced, look no further. Parking never seems to be an issue since the restaurant is loctaed in a huge shopping center that has pver 2,000 parking spots. Finding a good table is also never a problem. But I wonder how long this luxury will be available. I bet this restaurant will be humming with people once it gets better known.
