I have been buying tickets from Eros Tours & Travel for several years now. They have the best rates, far below any other travel website, the best combination of flights and excellent customer service. In my opinion, there is no better travel website than Eros.
Great prices & great service! I'd searched several sites before finding this gem. They all had higher prices. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. This webiste is a 'keeper.'
Watch out! Stay away!
Here is the latest stunt by Cheap Fare Guru. It involves the cancelled 787 flights. I bought 2 United tickets on a 787 flight through CheapFare Guru (Eros). When I called United to change the flights, United was unable to do it because the tickets were sold as "bulk" to the travel agencies, so the cost of the tickets was not in the United computer system and therefore the agent could change to it to match whatever. So I have to go through the travel agency to facilitate the changes by providing the info to United. The agent told me there should not be any problems and the travel agency should be glad to do it because of the contract they have with United.
I sent an e-mail to CheapFare Guru, requesting an ASAP response. Did not get a reply. So I called. The first time I called and stated my problem, I got cut off after being told to hold. I called again. This time, the person told me there are no canceled flights by ANA. (I'd personally called ANA and was told the flights were canceled from 3/31 until June). He kept arguing that the ANA flights should be fine and no flights were changed. I persisted.
Finally, he asked what flights I wanted to change. He said he would e-mail United for the changes and it would take a week; he couldn't wait to get off the phone. Why would it take a week when he could just call right away. In the meantime, he leaves me anxious, worrying the few remaining seats on the flight I need would be gone.
It is very obvious the consumer protection laws required for travel agencies had been violated in several arenas.
Really cheap domestic and last minute deals – I always enjoy using this website because they always have lower prices than other websites. I travel a lot and inorder for me to keep my money in budget I use this company.

Low prices! – This site is wonderful! It was my first time using this website and it has the cheapest prices! I have never ever seen before it’s amazing. I would recommend everybody to use this website!
Good prices but Terrible at refunds – I cannot give this company any more than 2 starts due to their inability to do any legwork on a refund that was due to us. Also, the CEO of the company does not even have a voice mail they told me and they never return any calls or any messages left.
Our flight was cancelled due to nature, the airline only processed one portion of the refund (which Eros Travel gave us) but then when we asked them for the second half they kept telling us they were contacting their contact. That went on for 4 months. We played by the rules for 4 months until we got someone to finally tell us that they were contacting a parent agency called Picasso Travel...which were no help either.
Eros Travel was unable to reach anyone at the airline during the entire 7 months we were waiting for the refund. That is completely inadequate on their part. I had to do the legwork, calling all sorts of airline numbers, even reaching the refund department in the UK for the airline. Going through the hurdles because the airline said my agency (Eros Travel) was supposed to contact them, not me. In the end we FINALLY got our refund.
So, good prices, and good at giving refund when airlines process them correctly (hence 2 stars), but TERRIBLE at doing any legwork when things get a little complicated, and they never return any calls.
