THE BEST & FRESHEST. I know my baklava...and BF is the freshest, has the best selection, and is full of quality ingredients. I thought the customer service was great. The young woman working there always has a huge smile. I highly recommend The Baklava Factory. Great prices too.

Bad customer service. I was excited to go to the new location, but was sadly disappointed. The staff was pushy, got my order wrong, and gave my child an old, dry cookie (if they are going to offer a child a free cookie---at least offer a healthy choice---not a discarded holiday cookie that may be days old--yuck....I gladly paid for another cookie, but it's an offensive and inexcusable thing to give a child an old cookie). I ordered a few canoli and some napoleons and other various pastries---the cream was very hard, like it was old...I would not recommend it to anyone seeking quality european pastries (although it's not their specialty, they should offer a quality product). Also, the place itself seemed a bit seedy.

The Worst Customer Service Ever!. I placed an order online. Since the order had not been received after 5 days, I called Baklava Factory and was assured that the order would be sent that day. After several follow-up emails (I did not receive any response to my emails) and several telephone calls, the order that was indeed shipped 5 days after I ordered it arrived 3 weeks later (my friends received a gift of 3 week old baklava). I spoke to the manager or person in charge who told me that this was not his problem as Baklava Factory did their part - they shipped the order. I was also told that I should contact the postal service and try to get my money back. The order was not re-sent and the charge to my credit card was not reversed. I paid for shipping and 3-week old baklava which was thrown away.

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE!! I do NOT recommend Baklava Factory!!

good food, bad customer service. I have been here a couple of times and would definitely go again to pick up some desserts. The pastries are tasty! The people who work there aren't the friendliest but it's worth going in for the food.

dreamy. i feel like i'm blowing their cover, but i have to say that the baklava factory is my favorite los angeles (valley) discovery of the year. every type of authentic baklava imaginable, they make. perfect textures, perfect sweetness, perfect nuttiness. a diabetic's nightmare.
